Endgame for sure. It's closer to original BF3 maps, no op as fuck AC130, rush modes that work, capture the flag and air superiority if you need jet practice. AK is fun and all, but it gets old fast. Endgame maps are also damn nice on TDM, btw.

Fuck Javelins. Seriously, having so much fun on bikes until the enemies realize they can just camp a hill with 10 guys and spam javelin missiles at everyone on a bike.

Why does everyone think the slow-as-fuck AA vehicles are for flag capping? So many times I've been happily sitting at the base, defending against the endless waves of attack choppers and IFVs, and some chucklefuck decides to hop in and trundle over into enemy territory, where we promptly blow up. They're defense vehicles, people!

I really like dirt bikes.

I think I'm going to have to take a very long break from this game because I am ending every play session in complete and utter anger. Hopefully after some time away I can learn to love the game again.

Javelins are the biggest joykill ever.. Get a whole nest of javelins at a well placed area near the enemy cap point and and that'll force the flag carriers to just hoof it there instead of hitching a ride. I'm riding my steed heading towards the enemy castle to take their holy relic, as I approach, I see my teammate, he's under heavy fire from camping faget archers on their hill with their ballista's shooting HE rounds. He grabs the flag and me being all cool and shit ridding on my steed of a dirtbike neighing with beeps. I pull up to him by sliding over to my side like something out of a action movie, I lay out my hand and he reaches for it and I pull him in. I ride up to the sunset where a faithful littlebird friend flies past me to distract the pursuers. Even my best knight came to back us up, the t-90 tank with his marvelous throwing arm which can propel explosives across the horizon with ease. Then I face another obstacle which is threatening the success of my holy mission. A wooden bridge that seems to have collapsed and I must jump over it. My steed picks up more speed and more speed to the point where the front is just in the air (Holy fuck I just imagined a horse just start running on his two hind legs with his front legs kicking in the air). I hit the ramp and I had hit the highest point in that jump, time froze and I can see my castle not far and I can see the awed faces of my allies as I made that badass jump, me and my buddy were gonna make it! But then.. A fucking faget ass soldier with his fucking javelin like across the map fucking kills us in mid air. Mother fucker. dis some bs. TL;DR Javelins are ghey

I actually almost pulled off a solo dirtbike cap today. Rolled in, snatched the flag, actually managed to speed off without dying. Pulled some serious combat driving to avoid getting shot on the way back, made if to our base... And got TK'd. I was pissed, but someone completed the cap so I called that a success.

Didn't cap myself, but successfully helped a friendly cap on salaban. Teammate was being attacked by multiple enemies proning behind a wall, I sped up to him and he got on, then I sped off and jumped up a rock right into our base. It was pretty cool. Playing CTF and actually grabbing the flag and getting on a dirtbike reminds me a lot of Tribes Ascend. Not the game itself, but there's just something about racing away at high speeds with a stolen flag that gets me really pumped.

Plus the dirtbikes basically handle like jetskis and can ramp off of anything/ride on semi-vertical surfaces, so it's actually a little like playing T:A, only with more turning and everything is hitscan :v:

The sprint key on it is fucking amazing, you can make so many awesome jumps just by using that thing. The dirt bikes are way better then the ATVs in AK, which felt more like smaller jeeps. These feel like something new entirely. I mean fuck I just got premium and was playing with a couple of friends just to play, but the dirtbikes have made me go out of my way to play BF3 when they aren't around too. Part of that is probably because I've wanted a good first person bike since I saw that cool one in the 2001 Duke Nukem Forever trailer. First day was fun but CTF is now in Tribes Ascend mode. aka I give my team every advantage and still lose because 12 people on D can't hold a flag while I attack with one or two stragglers.

I'm torn on CTF. I can't stop playing it because it's fucking fun and bikes are awesome, but the mines+C4 spam on the flags and base rape piss me off, and they're everywhere. CTF needs a dirtbikes-only mode, and dirtbikes need to not set off mines. Hell, just give me Dirtbike Superiority where everyone has to be on bikes, you can grab the flag from on the bike, and all kills are from your passenger doing drive-bys. Think about it. You'd have to stop and make yourself vulnerable so your 'gunner' could get a shot on someone, or go fast and risk missing. I want it.

That would be sick. I've switched to using assault + smoke nades. Works really well, drive by on a bike and smoke the fuck out of the flag, throw a grenade or 2 on the flag to clear out mines and C4, then go grab it. It's the only way I've actually managed to accomplish anything with these shit teams. A big problem is that nobody works together. Capping would be pretty possible if you had a competent squad or two.

People will sit there with C4/Claymores/AT Mines/Javelins/Recon/Tanks waiting for anyone the entire game.

Back to the one-sided fuckfest that is Battlefield 3.
