Anyways, why the hell are we debating the efficiency of loading universal assets at game start instead of whenever you join a server? Is this something that really needs to be debated?

I have a quick question, maybe you guys can help me out. Have any of you ever experienced/heard of an error where you can't change levels with the server? Here's my problem. I join a server, everything goes perfectly fine. At the end of the round, after the stats and stuff are shown and the countdown timer runs out, my game tries to change level with the rest of the server, but it hangs on the loading screen. I have a blank black screen with the little loading icon at the bottom right and it hangs there indefinitely. I then have to alt tab out and close the game in order to join the server again or join a different one. This only happens when changing the map, but it happens about 80% of the times the server changes maps. Also I've been having this problem since I bought the game about a year ago and haven't worried about it til now hoping that it would fix itself in a patch or something (most other weird issues that I've had have fixed themselves this way). For the past year though, I've basically played exclusively on servers that run the same map 24/7 because it's too much of a pain to close the game and relaunch every time the server changes maps. I've searched around and have gotten no real solution. I tried the support website but they gave me an estimated waiting time of 80 hours (ha) so I obviously didn't wait around for that plus I doubt they'd be able to help me. The only thing I've really tried to do to fix it was updating punkbuster. I also made sure that bf3 was white listed in my antivirus and firewall.

Recently changed my motherboard and now I gotta redownload BF3. BUT WHY IS IT SO SLOW? IT DOWNLOADS AT 600k/s!! Fucking shitty EA servers

Origins servers are better than steams at least. That's just about the only thing going for it.

Actually it jumped to 1.6mb/s....what the hell is going on?

I hope they bring back Onslaught. Sometimes I just want to kill everything.

I'm in a IFV and I needed to hop out and repair. A friendly IFV rolls by barely scraping mine, when I hop out, I like just appear within his tank and since he's going forward, I'm thrown down the road and collide into a fence and die. wtf.

So, dirtbikes are basically the ultimate Jihad vehicles. -Fast as hell -Ramp over most obstacles -turn extremely fast/tight -Spawn everywhere And, most importantly... -Roll a long distance when you bail out I spent the last 2 rounds just hunting tanks/IFVs with my C4-covered bike. It was glorious.

I really hope they don't do another repeat of something like the teaser they did for BF3. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP0Ij1_VTY0[/media]

I hope they actually follow through on putting new features in this time. Remember dragging downed teammates as a medic, or alpha destruction?

Playing the railroad map and winter map as metal gear solid is too fun. Sneak up slowly, take out any recons on your way, then take out the javelin wielders. All whilst suppressed. M4A1 suppr/MEU(SOC) S-TAC funtimes.

Sweet, China confirmed for BF4. Kind of excited now.

And hunting recons is fun no matter what you're listening to.

Having people just run past you whilst you're laying in the grass is one of the most tense feelings I've had in BF3 so far.

I don't think I'm going to be buying BF4, I'm pretty disappointed that they're doing another 'modern warfare' game.
