I wish it was more tactical like that. Less Q spam and more oh look there's an enemy! People can actually get lost in the foliage now though, which is nice. You can still just use the minimap spot to pick them off though. [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] MGS round. Best gun: M1911 MEU(SOC) Suppressed Tactical.
I don't think I'm going to be buying BF4, I'm pretty disappointed that they're doing another 'modern warfare' game.
Just wait and see. It could be utter shit, but on the other hand it could be simply brilliant. For one, just look at how DICE's mapping has improved since launch. All the endgame maps are great.

All the endgame maps are great.
I wouldn't call them great. Most of them are too linear, or suffer from flags-too-close-together syndrome (especially Salaban Pipeline, 4 flags with 50 feet of each other). I like that there's more vertical space, though, and all the maps are fantastically put together if you're on a dirtbike, so many jumps and hidden paths.
IMO End Game maps seem to amplify the unbalanced teams that already are a problem in BF3. The maps are small and there are a lot of vehicles, which means the opposing team can pretty much be anywhere ready to destroy your anus. [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] Though it was my fault for playing on a 64-player server. Fuck them.
BF3 drew me in because there was so much new compared to BC2/BF2. DICE is going to have a much harder time convincing me that this is worth my money. Usually one team's base is really poorly situated, like the RU base on Salaban Pipeline (downhill from everything) or the US base on several other maps (huge, empty areas behind the base, basically sniper heaven). Plus the fact that DICE got incredibly lazy and left those giant, ugly 2D tree sprites inside the playable area. Ugh.
CTF seems like it would be fun with competent teams of like 8 VS 8 due to small map sizes.
That' my friend, is called being a support. In previous battlefields being a support meant you had a bigass gun, and you were tasked with resupplying your teammates. Not anymore! In battlefield three you can, for the first time, experience what it's like to be a REAL rambo. Fire away 900 rounds per minute 200 rounds a belt, should average at about 70 bullets per kill, whilst blowing up snipers, buildings and tanks alike! Call 1-800-FUCK-SHIT-UP today for a free trial!
Support guns are pretty annoying to use or to fight against They don't hit shit and if they're fired at you they reduce you to not hitting shit
CTF seems like it would be fun with competent teams of like 8 VS 8 due to small map sizes.
That's a little low. Personally I've had the most fun on a 24-man CTF server. Enough players to defend and attack, plus man the vehicles. 32 is also OK, although a bit crowded.
Whats the cheapest place to get Premium right now? (Not the premium edition, just premium.)
As long as the BF theme for BF4 isn't a man farting into a blowhorn, at least that will be an improvement. Bring back the orchestral themes please thanks dice
Whats the cheapest place to get Premium right now? (Not the premium edition, just premium.)
Whatever you find, if it costs more than Armored Kill and Endgame, don't get it.
Pistol only hardcore TDM with the 1911.
Those servers count as stat-padding/boosting servers and will result in a stats-reset if you get reported. Since I'm currently going for the pistol-mastery dogtags (500 kills with each pistol) I find it easy to get kills on hardcore servers with TDM Noshar Canals or metro with no explosives. I also draw a dot on my screen as an artificial crosshair so I don't have to aim down sight. Got many many thousand kills in the past.
I also draw a dot on my screen as an artificial crosshair so I don't have to aim down sight. Got many many thousand kills in the past.
so ~1337~
Those servers count as stat-padding/boosting servers and will result in a stats-reset if you get reported.
DICE doesn't enforce that anymore. I mean, they don't limit spawn time on vehicles or tickets on metro, so why would they even give a damn about this? [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] Flagrun servers, on the other hand, are the devil.
Those servers count as stat-padding/boosting servers and will result in a stats-reset if you get reported.
Source on that? On like actual stat resets. Hell, if pistol only servers weren't allowed, they might as well not allow all the 64 player ultra ticket metro servers. Also if you actually draw a dot on your monitor for hardcore mode that's pretty sad.

Vehicles just fuck everything up for CTF. I'd love it if the fight meant back and forth pushing and pulling for ground. As it stands, get on a bike, bypass any offensive line and everything else and die on the enemy flag. If it was a game where you have to fight through the enemy team without simply bypassing it on a bike then you'd alleviate a lot of the camping problems. Obviously I'd still be in favor of flanking routes that avoid the fighting but they at least take time to pull off. As it stands its too damn quick to have your flag stolen and capped so much so that teams feel compelled to sit turtle because if they don't some random guy will cap the flag with next to no effort.

http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-906f6c4a-vb276785.html Dumbest shit ever, people can just draw it on their screen or use a windowed mode crosshair. I don't see why drawing using the game itself is illegal.
S-TAC service star 1 :D
S-TAC service star 1 :D
Working my way to unlock that, 2 more vehicle destroys then just headshots go.
I wonder if BF4 will use green instead of blue filters this time.
I wonder if BF4 will use green instead of blue filters this time.
I can't imagine how BF4 will be different from BF3. I hope DICE disagrees with me.
I can't imagine how BF4 will be different from BF3. I hope DICE disagrees with me.
One could argument the same way about BC2-BF3. Sure BF3 has jets and 64 players, but just take a moment and look at a map with no jets and 32 players. Kind of a big difference between BC2 and BF3, don't you think.

Same reason injectors get caught. Yeah people use it to change the colors, but it can also be used to change variables on quite a few different things like accuracy and damage.
I do wonder how different Battlefield 4 will be when compared to 3. It's going to be quite boring if they throw in the same weapons and vehicles, because it will feel like treading old ground.

Those games are pretty much identical. BC1 [t]http://s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/xbox360/battlefield_bad_company/screens/battlefield_bad_company_42.jpg[/t] BC2 [t]http://www.1st-tag.co.uk/addons/autogallery/Gallery/Battlefield%20Bad%20Company%202%20screenshots/Battlefield_Bad_Company_2_Screenshot_7.jpg[/t] Only differences were the maps and campaign mode, and they probably threw in a few weapons.
Yeah they added the M1911, the thompson and the M1 Garand. [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] Although to be fair, BC2 added iron sights to all guns (except shotguns) and sights.

Unless I am misunderstanding your post.
Not all gun classes had irons. [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] And they all had stupidly large magazines.

That's a manual ban from a screenshot, not an automatic ban. Hiding cheats from PB is trivial anyways.
