(see steam overlay) #2 It's specifically listed as a crosshair ban which means a human looked at it and saw that the overlay was a crosshair.

I was banned from an OP metro rush server because PB took a screen shot when I had my steam overlay open on youtube. It was a manual ban, because they thought I was hacking and assume PB took a screenshot of my desktop. It was pretty fail.

Just had some amazing STELF experiences playing CQ on that one map with the lumberyards. Snuck up to a cap, plopped down in a bush, starting capping. No fewer than three people tried to stop the cap, couldn't find me, walked by and got tapped by my silenced M1911. Seriously, put on some black camo and go prone in tall grass and you are INVISIBLE. I've had people walk literally over me and settle in for some sniping. I want to actually be part of the damn alpha this time. Had a friend of mine that was in the alpha, never told me, never owned a BF game before BF3 alpha, and only played it twice. Wanted to punch him after he told me this a year into the final release of BF3. The beta was fun, I loved the beta, like it even more than the actual release (minus the bugs [even though some where pretty funny]).

which is a bad reason to permanently remove something. every other dev usually removes a broken feature to be fixed and re-added later, but dice said "fuck it" and added weapon camos instead.
