I tried so hard to get an EOD Bot kill so I spent almost three rounds trying to sneak behind enemy forces and torch them.
Then, finally I managed to kill someone. "Reddenn KILLED someone"
It didn't count as a kill and the assignment is still locked.

You probably ran them over, just go to Op metro, No Explosives, get on RU wait for some recon to be behind that booth in the corner and torch him there. Got 5 kills that way.

I've gotten similar glitches in the normal english version of BF3. I don't think it's related to 3rd party language patches (unless you got a shitty patch)
I just love the sound of battle in this game. All the chaos.

I have a weird opinion about the player models in BF3:
US
The Assault looks friendly and his face looks like he doesn't really know what is he doing.
The Engineer looks cool
The Support looks like a dog, that makes him look very friendly
The Recon looks like a teenager with an obssession on ninjas, I don't like him.
RUS
The Assault looks weird, his mask looks like a smile.
The Engineer looks like the Pyro from TF2
The Support looks like a murder
The Recon is just the US Recon with other outfit. (I have a theory that they are both the same person)
Please don't take this too serious

It seems like gadget-kill-counts are broken. I also killed some people a few months ago with the MAV and it also just showed "killed".
For me it's RU everything better/cooler except Support. He really does look like a psycho.
Anyway, I finally experienced Metro. Luckily no nade spam but still chaos.

Op. Metro with 24 or less players never falls into TDM. It's just not designed well for bigger player count.

That means that if BF4 is for next gen consoles it could support 64 players on all versions. In that case we could get maps designed better for bigger player counts.
But I also think part of the problem is just that DICE got too bogged down by balancing for both consoles and PCs, as well as the number of game modes. In BF2 it was pretty much just conquest so they could take their time with the maps and make sure it flowed really well. In BF3 the base game has five game modes, with rush and conquest being the most disparate. They had to balance all of these, plus the multiple sized conquest versions.
