I'd almost say make it so you have to have a party member native to the server to join it
I thought they'd mentioned before that in order to guest you had to have at least one friend on a server you were trying to join. I was surprised to find out that's not the case.
Made sure I was on the main server

Random drop from black lion chests.

Why the fuck would you go glass cannon as a d/d ele if you can't even dodge. This ele in my party was a useless weight. Then they said I was a useless dagger ele cause the highest crit I hit was 5k (I wasn't the one kissing the ground the whole dungeon)

That's not too bad, before they made the chests daily my server had that many people and sometimes more pretty much all hours of the day.

This is the group that melted the boss in less than 10 seconds.
I know the putting 4 of the same kind of item in the Mystic Forge gives you the same kind of item. 4 greatswords will net you a great sword. But if you put 4 of the same class of armor in, do you get the same class of armor? Like if I put 4 mediums in, do I get a medium out? Or would it be better just to save for 4 medium chest pieces?
Ok, I can now personally confirm it doesn't work like this. I threw 4 masterwork light armor pieces in (each one different - leggings, shoulders, head, boots), and got a heavy headpiece out. So it won't stick to the same tier of armor if you use different pieces.
I should really get back in to playing this at some point over the next 3/4 weeks I have off.
Are any of you able to make money by crafting? I thought I could make some money by crafting omnomberry bars but since their price drops quite fast I think it's hardly worth it.
you might have to do a bit of math to find crafting recipes worth buying up mats.
at the moment I think it may just be easiest to sell off all your spare mats and buy new ones as you need them, but crafting is a bit gimped as far as profitability right now.
today i decided to fuck off levelling and do every event and minion quest whatever its called becouse its fun

Overleveled?
well in short when i do many events in the same zone/area as well with the heart quests things and by the time i " get " to the next zone in my character my level is way too above from the quests etc
Overleveled?
to be honest sometimes an area's level-down system is a bit high. I was playing in the starting norn area (forested section of wayfarer foothills) on my (at the time) lv25 guard, and my hammer #2 skill (jump forward and damage an area with a ground pound) was leveling three sons of svanir in one swing. I even leveled a building by accident and got confused as hell, but apparently destroying it was part of an event that had just started up
speaking of, having a blast with guardian. I've managed to plow up to lv 35 in the two days it's taken my friend (who I was playing with at lv 25) to reach 7 or 8. It's more just from pushing myself fast through areas I've already spent too long dinking about with friends on low level characters, and yet it still feels fresh, weird but good. You still learn things from NPCs by listening in on convos and talking to them at random, which I've still found the time to do
now that I've hit asuran T1 armor, I'm pretty content with the rush and can take it easy again. of the asuran heavy sets I'm actually liking T1 more than the others. Don't get me wrong, T3 is cool, but doesn't feel very unique now that a lot of people have it. T2 is weird and feels like it was designed by a bored highschooler who doodles tons of those S things in notebooks. (also the helmet looks more like some gigantic external braces rig)

I leveled from 78 to 80 in the Asura starter zone.

I find the leveling from 1 to 20 the slowest, after that things pick up.

it also looks like something ripped straight out of tron when you make it black and trim it with practically any color
Getting kicked at Jade Maw is so much fun, you guys. Pugs are great.

I've defaulted to making a neutral scheme (using iron/fog) with one set of a bold color that I can just swap around as I see fit. did this with aureli, and it works even better here since there's some defined bits that shine a little harder (more like the glow of nice glass in light, not like it's radiating)

looks awesome in the default green, red and apricot colors, though the default river blue stands out nicely. The whiter strips along the arms and at the top of the thigh segment remains a light tron blue-white though. (can match that with the lighter of the two jeans colors from the original dye set).
I can also dye this up perfectly to look like Evangelion Unit 01, my friend and I were throwing a fit about it after that screenshot and I forgot to get a shot again

I like Pitch and Frost, personally. But that's because Iron on anything but metal looks way too blue, and Fog on Vigil's cloth parts brings out all the darker spots on the armor like nobody's business.
But yeah, schemes like that mean you pretty much can throw any color together. I can use just about any decently dark color I want with my current Frost/Redemption or Illumination scheme. I just default towards Pitch, Grape Shade, and Midnight Purple.
my only worry is falling into 'mary sue' color scheme territory, IE lots of black with red all over. It's a great color scheme but a moderate number of people out there scoff about it because of how common of a choice it is. Even I've found myself looking at certain people with a really bland solid scheme like that and thought to myself "there goes one now", even as I run around on Aureli with iron/spitfire. My glowy glove piece tends to use sienna for a more natural orange-to-yellow heat coloration and I often have an accent color to offset the solid use of colorations
Yeah. Red and black is kind of overdone, which is a shame since it can look so good.

edited onto my post but I'll just change it to a response to this- maybe that's my gripe about the few marysue color configs I've seen- it's usually abyss//black and the reddest red. loses a lot of details from the armor, and if you use ONLY the two colors across the entire thing it just becomes uninteresting
The colour scheme I have at the moment is also p boring (Celestial and Abyss), I need to mix it up a little bit.
Blue and gold, motha fuckas.
ingame pricecheck please, I need the current sale price and buy offer in TP for this-
