Is it worth it to save up items to throw in the Forge? Like saving greens to try and get rares?
Tried some sPvP on my Elementalist today using a YouTube guide. D/D build. I was the definition of glass cannon. But it worked, purely by hitting ride the lightning, blazing speed, and popping all my Arcane utility. Highest I critted was a 9k Fire Grab. But then again I died all the time with my 14k Hp.

You'll mostly just get more greens back and probably lose money. The only time when it's really necessary to do that is when you are trying to get exotic precursors for legendary weapons, in which case you would put 4 rares in each time.

Yesterday I did 12 dragon chest events. Huzzay.

Did Shatterer, Tequatl, Maw and Fire Elemental on each. Edit: Also, I don't think doing it on guest servers gives extra chests anymore. I tried it once, and did not get a chest for the event I have already done.
3 level 80 characters. Did Shatterer, Tequatl, Maw and Fire Elemental on each.
Ah, I see.
Woah through some brilliant planning we were able to take the Northern Shiverpeak's Keep.
Woah through some brilliant planning we were able to take the Northern Shiverpeak's Keep.
And now it's gone. [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Along with my chance at 100% world completion, 1 vista and 2 POIs and northern shiverpeaks owns those 2 areas again. Oh sorry I was talking about their Borderland. This is the 2nd time we've kicked NSP out of the Eternal Battlegrounds.
I'll write more about it later. I'm going to hit the sack. Also I had another fun story. I got 1-shot by a bomb drop engineer earlier on in w v w. Afterwards I decided it was time to try out an outlast mesmer build with a heavier focus on toughness (with the HOTW armor that I was finally able to afford). I met the engineer a second time and he takes less than a third of my health with the same tactic.
Check again, we now control most of the map. [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Woah no automerge [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] I'm directly attributing this to at least two commanders, namely cubes a cube and chaosx (he has a crappy name, but he was pretty damn good commander). Through the use of distractions and near simultaneous invasions, we were able to grab both Aldon's Ledge and Jerrifer's Slope. AL was used in a sacrifice fly to buy JS time to set up a treb to strategically hit two walls on the keep that were hard for incoming defenders to see until they were nearly destroyed. Then we looped around the keep, killing pretty much everything in our path, back to the walls to confuse them. The commander set up a couple of catapults to destroy the first wall, mass stealthed everyone so we wouldn't get swords by fighting the guards; jumped to the almost destroyed inner wall and repeated the process; then invaded the main courtyard, killing their boss in about 1 minute. Northern Shiverpeaks didn't know what hit them.
Still working on the colours, but I'm finally done with my outfit.

Oop, started an elementalist-character (human, female of course) and all the skills look so cool. Except Water. Fuck Water. Using it to unlock more is so much more painful than the other attunements. I'm sure it'll become handy later but at sub-10 it's nigh useless.

Pay attention to which moves grant vulnerability and for how long- -scepter can keep up 12 stacks of vulnerability (12% increased incoming damage) if you keep using that #2 ice break move. -Staff's #2 is slower and can only keep up 10 stacks, but it also does more damage and you'll be combining it with the #4 chill to keep things slow and incapacitated. Staff is more about the heals anyways, so only pay attention to it long enough to apply what you need and swap out. -dagger(main)'s autoattack causes vulnerability (can maintain 12) and does a good amount of damage, if you consider each 'attack' swings back for a second strike, and the whole thing can reach down a line of enemies easily. but again each element has its primary utility, so knowing when to swap in and out of different sets is a good thing

Guys, there is a precursor weapon that's only 24g on TP. People really don't want the underwater legendaries, huh.
First time using SweetFX and messing around with configs, never thought Rata Sum could be anymore beautiful than it already was.
