Must need a wheelbarrow to cart around your massive balls of fire. My only encounters with Ele's in WvW are usually D/D types, but they led to the most interesting/fun battles I had. I get absolutely trounced, but its still quite fun. Dunno if its still like that now.

I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. I usually follow around a commander and let them tank shit while I just blast everything WITH FIRE, not really just a staff or scepter/focus.

I once got kicked from a party because I stood up for the guy when some elitist prick requested to kick a guy because he had low achievement score. Like what the fuck, what does having high achievement score even prove?
Gear being exotic or not means jack shit, it's what you spec in that matters more on how well you do. Of course not counting personal skill.
Overall gw2 community is rather friendly from what I've experienced but sometimes you meet an occasional elitist which is funny if you are in a pug party. If you want to be "pro"(lol) join a guild, don't be an elitist in a random party with random people.

So. Today I got Heart of the Swarm, good game btw, and when I was registering it I noticed my annual pass for WoW was ending in a few days and I had $77 due a week after it end for my auto-renewal. I decided long ago to let it expire but I wasn't aware it would auto-renew my sub for me, so I gave Blizzard a call. I told them I want to let my subscription run out and not have it auto-renew since I haven't played the game in over a month..
The guy asked why I was quitting and I mentioned Guild Wars 2 and not having time to dedicate to WoW. He said "ok" and removed the auto-renewal BUT he added 1.5 months of free game time as an incentive to keep playing the game if I "changed my mind later".
