This is it guys, I just put a buy order of 267g on exotic daggers and hammers at the TP. Going to wait for them all to fill, if I don't get a single precursor from the mystic forge I will be quitting GW2 [sp]at least until the next major content update[/sp]. Wish me luck.

I have a legendary, I don't NEED anything else in the game. Hell, I spent over 600g to get a title no one will ever notice, this was the last of the money I had sitting around, so I decided to just to do some high risk/high reward gambling.

Is there a limit to the loot you can get from bosses?
I only recently started playing and noticed that the chest at the end of Frost maw(or whatever its name was) sometimes doesn't spawn.

If you think that was bad, me and a few buddies did the hidden boss at the exploded thaumanova reactor where you have to pattern the crystal to the 4 elements, kill the fire elemental and open up the reactor covering to get teleported to a floating platform Above the building.
After spending a good 2 hours waiting for the even and a further 20 min while I had to go AFK. we got the floating platform and fought the boss.
However, I was an engineer and nearing the end of the fight I decided it would be a good idea to use the elixir gun's ability that drops some REALLY nasty poison on the floor and launches you backwards...
clean off the edge...
As the boss died...
and the chest appeared...
when I had an engie I used the shotgun's ability that knocks you way back at very inopportune times more than I'd like to admit

I do it all the time with the thief's dodge roll heal when I'm near cliffs (especially the cliff side fractal)
Last night, Shatterer, Cakebatyr, some other people and I did fractals. Since it was the uncategorized fractal (aka the jumping puzzle) I used conjure ice bow as a form of ranged combat since I'm a d/d ele. Unknown to me was that my charges ran out and when I tried to use skill 4 on the ice bow (massive aoe of crits, bleed and death) I ended up using Ride the Lightning right off the platform :I

'dai' has been played past lv 15 as a ranger, two engies, a necro and now a guardian. I'm happy with the guard finally and already past lv 50. Engie didn't sit well with me, necro wasn't my thing at all, and I deleted the ranger at a low level to experiment with other classes since that was my 5th char slot. UNFORTUNATELY something bugged out, and the arenanet hat and my mad king costume vanished when I deleted the ranger, who WAS wearing it but I'd moved it to the bank moments before deletion. They weren't in the bank after that and I didn't notice for a few days, so support didn't really know what to do with it. I didn't want to revert my account a week just to get that junk back, and apparently they didn't just want to send replacement bits. Bleh

honestly i don't get this, there's already DR on everything in the game, why not just make it so the first chest of the day from each boss for each character has 2 guaranteed rares that could also be an exotic, and then if you do it again you still get a chest but your chance to get yellows goes back down to normal

would just give even more advantage to the farmers who spend all day camping the same events
hell it would encourage EVERYBODY to just waste all of their time sitting around farming a couple bosses instead of playing the damn game. Get out and do something else
i don't really see what's wrong with farming, if you spend the time doing it because you want to make money that way, then it's your choice
don't forget that farmers paid $50 too and if they want to play that way why not let them?

Farming is usually the most efficient way of doing something in a game, so a player feels more incentive to farm even though it's boring as fuck. If you promote farming, you'll make the game about repeating a single task to get the best rewards, so it'll turn into a game of whoever can spend the most time farming.

should swap to water for your bow anyways, it increases the healing done by the autoshot. If that's not your goal, shift to fire for the extra might.
