The Ticket Merchant won't accept my Tournament Ticket. :(
The Ticket Merchant won't accept my Tournament Ticket. :(
do you have your tickets in your bags, or are they deposited in your pvp locker
Sadly most legendaries aren't that great IMO. There is no legendary I'd want to go for on my thief.
Sadly most legendaries aren't that great IMO. There is no legendary I'd want to go for on my thief.
there's also the demi-legendaries. Some are easier, some are even harder to obtain, but they're still 'exotic' quality. got mah monthlies the last dungeon was AC path 1, was the quickest run so far.
do you have your tickets in your bags, or are they deposited in your pvp locker
Ah, they are in my bag. Thanks!

The effect of being turned "off" when sheathed and then igniting when unsheathed is pretty badass. But at this stage of the game, it is really hard to get one, let alone two. My friend uses the Mystic Spikes and she enjoys the way they look as they are blue Inquest weapons.
Ah, they are in my bag. Thanks!
not sure if you mistook what I meant, they should be in your bag, not in the bank.
Managed to get another friend to start playing the game. He chose human engineer.
Managed to get another friend to start playing the game. He chose human engineer.
Playing Engineer is suffering. Fun and unique, but suffering.
Playing Engineer is suffering. Fun and unique, but suffering.
Engineer being my main made all the alt classes boring and not so fun :<
I'm gonna create an Engineer :O.
Why are engineers suffering? And then, what's the best (are the best) class(es)?
Charr warrior, don't pick human 'cause they be chumps. [editline]28th February 2013[/editline] Humans are chumps. Norn are drunks. Sylvari are trunks. Asura are stumps. Charr are slam dunks!
Why are engineers suffering? And then, what's the best (are the best) class(es)?
You get a choice of three weapon types, pistol, sheild and rifle. The chances of fidning one and then finding one thats good for your level are horibly low. You do really little damage output and need teammates to be effective really. But with a few meat shields to cover your backside and your turrets you can buff them to godlike proportions, shell the enemies with your mortar, and throw bazillions of combo feilds.
So how are elementalists, seeing as how I'm playing one?
I love elementalist. It's awesome having 4 elements to choose from. I like using my scythe staff when doing dungeons to heal etc. Double daggers for solo. I don't like wand that much.
wand was fine for leveling ele but really doesn't have a place when doing anything other than kiting around a single mob. also a lot of people think air sucks as an element because their first experience is usually the wand's weird static buzzy thing. Play it with daggers and you too can be this badass also understand that you can't swap weapons, BUT you have four attunements and each has advantages and disadvantages in certain situations. Obviously it would be nice to have a staff available when you're toting around short-range daggers, but some dag moves can reach a good distance or close gaps. If you want, you CAN equip a summon weapon like the bow to accomodate for lack of reach, or if you've got staff and need a lot of one-on-one power you can keep the lightning hammer or flame axe on hand. The elite greatsword is a good mix of abilities and can help nomatter what you're using, but I avoid it mostly because I'd rather have an elemental dealing damage alongside me (or taking damage) whenever necessary. I really wish summon weapons were kits like engineers' stuff (instead of only having 15 attack charges [25 with a fire trait]), but with only a 60 second cooldown and two copies of the weapon (if nobody else picks up the second summoned one), you can keep using them pretty constantly

So is it possible to make a warrior high-damage build that's also rather tough and tanky? I tried to do that with my build, but my attempt to be both damage-dealing and damage-surviving appears to have left me with neither. :( I think I'm too spread out,I lost alot of potential survivability points on hunting down traits that improve my damage with higher adrenaline, there are like 4 of those all in different trait lines.
give them the
So basically, give them chlamydia?

You don't do crazy DPS, but you have a lot of sustained DPS simply by surviving a lot longer than anyone else. Plus you can tank some pretty crazy stuff, depending on where you are and what you're fighting. 20/0/20/30/0 on traits, with V, IX/I, II/VI, VIII, and XII major traits (respectively). Using Greatsword main (Sigil of Bloodlust), secondary of sword + shield. Default heal (Healing Surge), For Great Justice!, Shake It Off!/Balanced Stance, On My Mark!, and Signet of Rage for utilities.
