Did you do the artwork for the peoples' faces yet or are you using pre-made sprites for now? Cause they look anime-ish and I don't think that would suit Star Wars at all.

Shame I have no skills to help you out with this project, but I'm going to have to keep my eye on this thread for when this becomes available. Best of luck!
As someone who used to be somewhat in the RPG Maker scene(never actually made anything playable for the record, had a lot of ideas that just fizzled out/got nowhere) and especially after the fact that Steam Greenlight was originally bombarded by no effort RPG Maker games, its nice to see someone actually make an effort.

I don't like my gameplay entirely up to chance. I would like it like how it was in SWG - if you wanted to be a Jedi, you do trial and error hard work until you are rewarded with each stage of force sensitivity, and even after you've worked for weeks to achieve "glowing" status (SWG pre-CU players will know what I mean) you still have days and days of training and work ahead to even become a padawan. The process from non-force to jedi master took many months. Some even up to a year. I would like it like that, instead of having it given to you. Even if the chance is only 3%, if you start with it its just handed to you.
I half agree and half disagree. The reason I wanted a small percentage chance of your character maybe being force sensitive in the first place was to put people off striving to be a Jedi and letting it come naturally. I don't want people to think of it as a game system, I want them to think of it more as a natural law to the galaxy. I know you can argue that it is a game and you should be able to become whatever you wish, but games are way to easy going with that stuff now days.
Never done animated stuff before so I dunno how good it'll look in motion but here ya go
Here's my question: Will there be a story mode that can follow along the movies, or is this an entirely separate thing (as you stated, a 2D offline SWG). Speaking of SWG, will you have things like the death troopers event or those obi-wan and hk-50 quests? I am looking forward to this and will most definitely give it a go. Also to the guy that said something about LucasArts finding out, MB3 is still in development even though its being made on the unreal engine and with the Disney changeover, they're pretty much doing nothing right now and are preparing for stuff to make based on the new movies.
Sounds awesome man This is the first time I've been pumped for an RPG maker game

Once you are finished with the arc, you can move onto whatever else you want to do. With the random events and mass amount of missions/stories, it will take some time. Also this isn't the kind of game you can take on a standard stormtrooper at level 5 or 10, and people like Boba Fett will prove a challenge even at max level. I have been thinking about death troopers but I don't like the way they fit into the star wars universe. I mean zombies in star wars is abit dumb imo. I could and probably will do quests that will tie into the star wars trilogy. The game will be set around Empire Strikes Back.
