Counter Strike apparently isn't from Valve, so I guess it doesn't count. I don't know about Ricochet, so I'll say Left4Dead, to be honest, I got bored from it pretty quickly. Also, HL2:DM, because it's DM, and DM is crap.
l4d's they aren't bad but they aren't that good eather.
If not mention ricochet, I say Left 4 Dead 2. Pure from techical point of view.
Half Life
The Leak, what an incomplete piece of shit.
I think L4D2 is Valve's biggest flop. It brought little to the L4D table that made it much different to L4D, has horrific balance indifferences that make VS a nightmare to play in most cases, and still has many unaddressed issues that Valve has failed to address, unlike the glitches that pop up in TF2 and that are fixed quickly.
I don't hate L4D1/2, but I just find them dull/ uninteresting, and feel Valve didn't really do a good job with them.
HL2:DM
Shit maps, shit item placement, shit game.
Ricochet; Source is going to ship in the Orange Box 2 along with Portal 2 and Episode 3. So have fun.
Ricochet didn't have a massive development cycle, and there's not a lot to it, but I still think it's fun in a frantic way.

And I don't think the L4D's were bad... the second is not as good as the first, but it's good.

Multiplayer for Portal is like melee for L4D.
(Basically, it should've been there in the first place not in a sequel).
a mod had multiplayer Portal action, before Portal was released.
Ricochet was less a game and more an experiment.
I would say HL2:DM the map design for that was hell. No to mention the grav gun. Hilarious fun in single player. But give players a one hit kill shit launcher with as much ammo as there is stuff in your immediate area. It just made it a total maelstrom.
Counter-Strike sucks. Its boring and you move with the speed of a heavy from TF2.
L4D1 and 2 are the best games from them. Teamwork + Zombies.
I personally don't think any of Valve's games were not awesome. I have never played 'Ricochet' though, so I have no opinion on that.
For the people saying that L4D2 was the worst of Valve's games, think of it this way: If you had never bought L4D and went straight to L4D2, it would most likely had been awesome. Although, for the rest of us who had purchased L4D, it felt like too much of the same and not enough was changed. So, none the less, L4D2 is a decent game.
