singleplayer may be a hit so don't cancel it just yet
Well I played the beta and if this doesn't improve A LOT then I will not be getting it. Don't really care about singleplayer.
Um yeah I'm finding it really hard to enjoy the beta anymore. Nevermind, enjoying again.
I like this game. Too bad I have the 80710092 Error for the PS3(Fucking Playstation Network)
I was excited for the beta but now everyone is saying how shitty it is, and frankly, they seem to have better arguments than those defending it.
Needs more weapons. I'm hoping DICE is just hiding the later weapon unlocks. One reason I like BC2 is because of the choice I get with the weaponry.
Oh wow, hah. For a second I thought I was reading the Minecraft thread. Found it very strange that people all of sudden were saying that it's bad/boring etc. Phew.. :v: On a more relevant note, I'll have to try this for myself before I judge it.
Biggest thing I've seen is it keeps freezing my ps3.
My team keeps getting spawn raped by Cruise missiles, jets, artillery, mortars, the APC, everything. I hope in the real thing there's a timer between those things so it doesn't rain down constantly 24/7.
Biggest thing I've seen is it keeps freezing my ps3.
Yea, it crashes my computer every time I try to load it. If I want to play I have to let it crash a few times before it actually goes through. BC2 did the same thing. Once.
God this is a glitchy Beta, anyways A) Is chat supposed to freeze every fucking time I try to use it? And if so is there anyway to fix it besides killing the game? B) How do I use those airstrike things? It shows a stupid controller DICE should be fixing BC2 instead of working on this game.
10 beta keys at 300 viewers, justin.tv/dark4boochie got mine earlier in game chat doesnt work to above poster score streaks activated by pressing 5

If you get a controller you're selecting the defensive (UAV). Anyways just press 5 for offensive and 6 for defensive.
I was excited for the beta but now everyone is saying how shitty it is, and frankly, they seem to have better arguments than those defending it.
so far, the best argument I've seen is "it looks liek mw2 and bc2". can't wait until EA gets there shit together and gets it to XBL. people need to remember it's still a fucking beta, and it has 5 months left in development.
so far, the best argument I've seen is "it looks liek mw2 and bc2". can't wait until EA gets there shit together and gets it to XBL. people need to remember it's still a fucking beta, and it has 5 months left in development.
A beta =/= alpha, there are major, MAJOR issues with the game thus far. - Spraying at a target with a full auto weapon is more manageable then using a long range semi-auto weapon at any distance. - Explosives are completely useless. - The entire UI at times is broken. - Massive delay from running out of health to actually dying (It's not lag, it happens regardless), meaning you will constantly see both people die in 1-1 firefights, one just slightly after the other. The reason is that you still have a moment after running out of health that the game believes that you have not died. Normally on a one-one fight evenly, one player should end up with very low health if they win, unfortunately, they'll die anyways as the enemy could still fire long enough to actually kill them. (Kill someone with a grenade launcher, there is a very clear delay, like three quarters of a second.) This is gamebreaking at times, and I see it in almost every confrontation. - Weird accuracy, some weapons have too much range and fire perfectly straight, while others that should have such range (I.E. The US semi-auto rifle) fire all over the place. While playing an insurgent sniper, I've seen US snipers fire at me perfectly, even unloading their ammo at me, or other targets, and not even hit me, while I take two shots and they don't miss. - Killstreaks are fine. - Due to the weird accuracy, 90% of kills are headshots, I've shot someone in the upper chest and it counts as a headshot. He was standing perfectly still and I was using a held-breath sniper. - Unlocking a scope... for the sniper class. The scope you unlock for the semi-automatic rifle doesn't even zoom in far enough to be noticeable. - Suppressors are useless, they limit your range and damage, yet the guns are still ridiculously loud. - Weird weapon switching, why when scrolling through my weapons, does my pistol not come up unless I hit my primary weapon button twice? - Glitchy vehicle - Points system seems to be broken, only 10 points for a vehicle kill, even if it is a tank, as well as receiving savior bonuses for no reason, like killing an AFK person will sometimes net you them.
Well this game is about as generic as it gets and brings nothing new to the table. As far as pacing goes it's between MW2 and Bad Company 2, mostly depending on the map. The valley map is pretty boring. The only real compliment I can give the game is that it feels smoother than BC2. It's still decently fun though. I'd buy it since there's no good multiplayer games out but there is no way I am going to pay $60 for this. I might wait until it goes on sale and if people still play it or if better games are out by then.
Moh should be a WWII shooter not a ''modern'' warfare game.
Too bad WW2 games lost their spice.
Too bad WW2 games lost their spice.
I don't want to touch another WW2 game for at least a year or two.
Too bad WW2 games lost their spice.
Actually, with all the games based around Afghanistan and M4s with red dot sights, I wouldn't mind seeing a WW2 game. It's been a while since the last one.
We should skip modern warfare and move on to future warfare.
We should skip modern warfare and move on to future warfare.
After that FPS games are inevitably going to be going toward the past when the modern warfare genre is milked dry.
Let me tell you what they could of done better: Fixed team assualt from being so one sided in the map they gave, I mean really, 2 minutes to take down an objective is ridiculous, BC2 gives 75 reinforcements, and that can take up to 15-30 minutes to take one down. Fix spawn times. Times are basically set so that you can rush right back into the fight, this makes it feel to much like MW2 gameplay, atleast have a punishment for death other than a bad K/D. What the could of done - put a better map than Kabul City Ruins. That map is one big camp fest and it is to small in my opinion for 12v12.
When will those who doesn't own BC2 be able to play it? It's the 21st now here in Norway, so I'm guessing they are following another timezone.
I lined up a perfect headshot with the dragunov, it showed the blood splatter when I hit the guy in the head, but it didn't count the shot. He then fires one shot at me and I die.

I was looking forward to the MoH beta, and I was pretty excited about it after seeing the short game that was played at the EA Press Conference, but now that I've had a chance to play it, I'm really not that interested in it. There's nothing thats just completely wrong with the game so far (the server browser is pretty stupid though, just don't understand why Dice can't figure out a decent server browser that actually works more than half of the time), but there isn't anything that distinguishes it from other, more popular games. While there haven't been many, if any weapon balance/map issues found in MoH, it really hasn't been around long enough to really determine one way or the other if it truly is better balanced than MW2. I guess the jury's still out on MoH, but I don't really think it brings enough to the table to make it a worthwhile purchase.
