Oh god its an 89 degree fov not 90 degrees, the horror. If you can kill someone then the fov is fine.
Change M21 to M14......Now! It angers me that once again another game has the incorrect name. Also the AK47 in game seems to be an AKM.
The good: -Feels heavy/clunky, a bit like BC2 -Good hit detection, the game doesn't throw dices to determine if you hit or not (like in BC2) -Feels less arcade than MW2 -Has a server browser The bad (excluding bugs and lack of content, this is a beta): -Even if it is best of the three (This, MW2 and BC2), I'm getting tired of modern war FPSs -More middle east? Yawn -Lacks destruction (not much of a minus though, it's not like BC2's destruction was anything special) It might turn out to be the best of the three (BC2 was absolutely ruined by the horrible hit detection), but it's still another modern war FPS.
Um yeah, pretty sure you were the only one who cared.

Like BC2 the game feels incredibly clunky and awkward to play.
Yeah, okay.
Have they fixed the freezing on PS3 yet?

Bwahahahahaha!
Good hit detection? Bwahahahahaha!
what it does
Change M21 to M14......Now! It angers me that once again another game has the incorrect name. /QUOTE] what they're very similar, except the M14 has a full auto firing mode and the M21 does not. The m21 is just a sniper/dmr adaptation of the m14
I still think that Battlefield 3 will be the best and one of the last good modern war FPS's.
Yeah, okay.
I'm okay with the FOV. It's the combination of poor hit registration, the player getting stuck in doorways and a knife attack that takes a minute.
what the fuck is with all these new FPSs with terrible FOVs? Seriously, I have no idea how BC2 gained popularity, the FOV is ass, this looks the same. MW2 isn't much better with it's FOV.
You do realize you can change the FOV by editing the .ini files? [editline]11:35AM[/editline] I don't know why you guys are having hit detection problems, unlike BC2 I easily hit people in this all the time. [editline]11:36AM[/editline] Also the fact that the guns have like no recoil makes this game pretty stupid
Good hit detection? Bwahahahahaha!
I was comparing to BC2 which had absolutely abhorrent hit detction, and as long as you have a latency of under 80ms, then it's good. Ok well maybe it's not that "good", but it's decent (I'm saying "good" because it is still a beta). [editline]04:40PM[/editline]
I don't know why you guys are having hit detection problems, unlike BC2 I easily hit people in this all the time.
Same.
The game freezes every time I earn a killstreak reward, but only when I'm playing as insurgents.
Weee master server error Weee crash when joining friends Weee no network Weee random closing Weee I think I just got all the possible bugs, in less than 5 minutes.
Despite the crashing, personally enjoying it more than the BC2 beta as that's all I can judge both from. Soldiers without parkinson's is how I enjoy my games.
I guess I am late considering all the beta keys were already given :v:
Yeah, okay.
Game issues =/= FOV
Anyone got a spare key from that gamespot thing? I highly doubt it but it can't hurt to ask.
i haven't had a crash yet, guess i'm just lucky :v:
I'm so tactic00l I put red dots on my shotguns [IMG_thumb]http://imgur.com/TetaX.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
that's pretty hardcore man [editline]01:44PM[/editline] shotguns suck
They really do. They instakill up close but it's usually impossible to get that close.
Why two different engines for multiplayer and singleplayer?
I've crashed but only once.
In the Leave a Message trailer i recognized something peculiar... Jimmy Patterson is the name of the guy you play as in Medal of Honor: Frontline... Jim Patterson = Jimmy Patterson

Steam finaly is allowing me to download, hopefully it is as good as it looked in gameplay I saw.
Wait, wasn't DICE making the multiplayer part of this? It's funny that on this the hit detection is fine, but on their biggest game (at the moment) it's still fucked (heck it even uses the same engine, the Frostbite).
i don't find the detection in BC2 to be as bad as it was
Same, the only problem I found was with the shotguns.
