The LMP file is apparently used for patching maps, so its a modfication to the map
i think it might be something in the glados fight at the end

someone play that map right now and see if they made the PARTY ESCORT thing actually work this time

In the sounds folder in the Portal GCF, was that machine folder always there? I've never heard those sounds before and some of them are really strange

Escape_02_l is not a new map, it's an addition to escape_02.
