If you go to the guys Flickr page it says "(I'm convinced that MIT's mechanical designs will result in a wonderful downfall of humanity. Welcome our new robot overlords!)" So far, 2 of the SSTV's are of his pictures. Also MIT, Gordon graduated there. Hmmm

About my pictures, I investigated further. The uploader of robots and retro created MINERVA. He was hired by Valve. Perhaps this could contain some clues.
