It just doesn't make sense. I'd assume something along the lines of the robot finding transportation somewhere nearby. Borealis, maybe. Guh.
Well. The robot says "...party submission...". This means he's talking about the party Glados was talking bout. And if you take the scene with the cake and all that from the end into account, you can assume the android wants Chell there.
Shit I don't care to quote
JESUS CHRIST THEY ADDED A BIT TO THE ENDING SCENE! GAME IS RUINED! Dumbshit.
I call that the male robot is voiced by D.C. Douglass (Legion, Albert Wesker) wait no but it should be.
You get dragged in that direction so you can't see whats dragging you, end of story. Don't think too much about these things.
C'mon Valve. Just when i think they can't go any lower they pull a Lucas and start editing their past games with new garbage that destroys the original. And you can't even just roll back to before the "new and improved version" and actually play it how it was before they shit all over it. What's next, Valve? Half-Life: Special Edition with a bunch of new graphics and dialog that ruin the atmosphere and gameplay of the original? Oh wait, Black Mesa is handling that job to the letter. Never mind. Protip Valve: If something gets considered a "classic" or "one of the best games made", It means you should NOT change it further. Portal was just fine the way it was originally released. Not only are you adding needless garbage to a great game, you don't even leave players a way to play the game as it was meant to be experienced. That's a move i would expect from Activision or Infinity Ward. And this is just one more sign that Valve will soon be just as bad as them.
You have to finish the game before getting the special ending and the radio's. First time players will not be affected.
Its a parking lot It's pulling you away from the exit, to the facility.
If that's true, then Valve fucked up on putting a sign facing the wrong direction.
:words:
That's partly wrong. Portal 2 would be good to tie the story into half-life. And black mesa looks good. But yes Sequels can destroy good things.

Excuse me if I'm late, but all three of the dino fizzle sounds sound like a machine trying to start back up again. Go listen to them in the OP with that in mind.
:rimshot:

I got this just after finishing the game too. It shows up in the main menu just after the credits, where the ammo counter would normally be in a source game. It's probably nothing though, just a bug.
YOU GODdAMN NINJAS
Excuse me if I'm late, but all three of the dino fizzle sounds sound like a machine trying to start back up again.
There's the problem, if you can't hear it generically without it being pointed out then it's your mind playing with you
I suppose, but that's what struck me as soon as I listened to the three. It was mostly the last one.

You aren't given a look at the facility, just a lot of debris in front of you. I'm thinking that playing in the same area won't be so entertaining, especially for Portal. The place is dead. There is no villain anymore, GLaDoS is assumed to be on the Borealis (well, we don't KNOW if a villain is there anymore...) Besides, how would the story tie together with Half-Life if we spend all these Portal games sitting in the same Aperture labs?
I'm gonna assume you guys know the history of the borealis, not what EP2 gave away but what valve did.
Besides that people don't drag others facing them.
Not necessarily true, but not important. Awesome avatar Lord Ivan :D
I fucking love that game ivan.
I'm gonna assume you guys know the history of the borealis, not what EP2 gave away but what valve did.
it was a level in the alpha/beta version of HL2?.
it was a level in the alpha/beta version of HL2?.
Deeper than that, in raising the bar they thoroughly explained it.
Deeper than that, in raising the bar they thoroughly explained it.
I <3 Raising The Bar. So interesting.
Deeper than that, in raising the bar they thoroughly explained it.
um, what?
I <3 Raising The Bar. So interesting.
never saw that
I <3 Raising The Bar. So interesting.
The concept art of the levels and the dialogue makes me wonder what happens if they were implemented. Too bad someone leaked it :argh:
I got this just after finishing the game too. It shows up in the main menu just after the credits, where the ammo counter would normally be in a source game. It's probably nothing though, just a bug.
Yeah it's the timer bugging.
never saw that
It's a book.
