If they go away, why don't you follow? it's not like they get to the runners and don't let you in, since you can teleport to a free seat in any CaR station.
They never go rambo/by themselves/go kill skags while you face Skagzilla. They get themselves killed that way, so they always stick together.
The longest game i had was 2 hours, and 2 of the players were on all the time, with the 4th player slot being changed every 10 minutes or so.
Never ever found a Co-op game with afks on it on pc. Plus, if there are 4 players, the monsters toughen up to withstand 4 players IE Nine Toes can be killed on level 5 singleplayer, but he's gonna be a lot tougher in 4 player co-op, and if you face him by yourself you WILL get yourself killed.
Borderlands isn't the best game out there but I do enjoy playing it with my friend.
Not many people playing The Secret Armory online. Can't find anyone to fight crawmerax with me, and he's literally impossible to solo as a hunter.

what? i'm talking about i'll play games with them for a while, then find out they never leave their room, have no friends and don't even go to school anymore, though they should be, which turns shit weird.
I use to play gta 4 online with my actual friends and we picked up an e-friend dubbed joe, he was cool and worked at walmart but had a really sad life, and would go on about stuff like being a free mason, that guy was cool shit, but he switched to PC and I haven't heard from him since.
