I don't know why, but I can't get into Fallout 1, 2, or Tactics. For the life of me. I don't know what's wrong with me, guys. Help. :saddowns:
Pip-Boy 2500
I love this mod mainly because it doesn't remove that left arm piece when you use power armor and it just looked weird like that
Is there some sort of solution to crashing while entering Tranquility Lane? I have TTW running and all the solutions that I've found online made absolutely no sense to me.
once you know what to do in the older games, its pretty easy to get into.
I get stuck in that vault where you have to rope yourself down, or some shit. I picked up the dynamite to blow a hole into the next room, but apparently my character isn't skilled in that manner. Poor bastard keeps blowing himself up.

Because apparently, I designed my character with no cognitive skill to do such a thing. It doesn't allow me to drop it.
Because apparently, I designed my character with no cognitive skill to do such a thing. It doesn't allow me to drop it.
You can drop anything, skill doesn't matter. If you can't drop it before it blows up, just set a longer timer.
How, exactly? I must have missed that, though I swear it said something along the lines of, "You can't drop this."
How, exactly? I must have missed that, though I swear it said something along the lines of, "You can't drop this."
The same way you drop anything else, maybe you misclicked ? i don't even recall having to blow anything up, you're talking about Fallout 1, right ? Vault 15 ? Finding the water chip ?
Yep. I looked over it again, but now I can't find what rock to blow up. :suicide:
Yep. I looked over it again, but now I can't find what rock to blow up. :suicide:
You don't have to destroy anything, all you have to do is to find out that the command center is destroyed, the quest updates and you leave. Nothing else to do there other than looting. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Find_the_Water_Chip
Well, I'm nearing the end of Lonesome Road and I'm torn. I like to RP at least a little bit, and the choice I want to make vs the logical choice is killing me. Pretty annoying of them to make it where [sp]you can only unlock all of the content of the DLC by nuking both places[/sp] I'm a completionist, darnit, and I want to get every gun and complete every challenge in this addon.

There, all of life problems are solved,
this might be old news, but i was reading on tv tropes and apparently there were going to be companion romance subplots this would've happened in one of them
Another idea that was considered before companion romances were dropped from the game was that Cass and the Courier would wake up after a night of drinking together in Vegas and find the King telling them they're married.

make a seperate save. There, all of life problems are solved,
if only there was a mod that let you go to those places and loot them without nuking them. Such a mod exists for Fallout 3, allows access to the 'destroyed' Citadel even if you don't actually destroy it.
So I don't know how far I am in NV, but if would it be better to buy the expansions now and play them earlier in the game or wait until I've beaten the main quest and then buy them?
Vanilla you cannot play after the main quest. Once the credits roll you get booted back to the main menu. You need a mod to play after the main quest.
Jesus fucking christ dead money is like getting kicked in the nuts continuously, and when you get to the damn vault, the frequency of kicking triples. Who the fuck thought that giving Elijah magic spidey senses was a good idea ? I have 100 sneak, read a magazine and Elijah magically detects me through a metal wall, through a generator, beneath the fucking floor. He's not even looking at me, he's like 5 meters away, what the fuck is this.
Just finished DM myself and it's a strange expansion. I'm around level 42 now and I can survive almost anything. I never die (except when surprised by deathclaw mothers or legendary creatures). In DM I had to start all over collecting stimpaks, weapons, armor, etc. which is nice because you have that fresh feeling where everything is hard again. But the environment of the villa is kinda bad. It's like a big dark maze and I expected I'd have to walk up to the casino while doing quests, as in a progressing to the top. But 60% of the game is around the villa. Don't think I'm doing another DM playthrough soon because you can't skip the villa and the jump and radio parts can be frustrating. Trial and error, sometimes you have to run past a radio to survive and other times the radio is followed by another radio setting your collar off.

That actually makes me more likely to play the expansions then, because with F3 I didn't buy them until after the end and I was so burned out I didn't go back to play them.

[editline]5th March 2013[/editline] rather trying-to-be-evil-but-circumstances-turn-me-into-jesus-because-it's-impossible-to-be-evil playthrough.
the karma system need a REALLY big rebalance and someone should compatibilate JSawyer.esp with TTW
So, how do I start the FO3 mainquest on TTW from a save that I started in NV?
So, how do I start the FO3 mainquest on TTW from a save that I started in NV?
Find Dad?
So, how do I start the FO3 mainquest on TTW from a save that I started in NV?
You have to hack Moriarty's computer, I think.
Walked into Vault 101 and it started :v: also, where the fuck are the doctor bags? I thought they added NV shit to the game, I'm on hardcore, this is going to end badly.

I found about 20 of 'em during my travels, and I spent about 40 hours of gameplay in DC so far.
they are a bitch to find you could just raise medicine to 40 and make your own or do the usual: get hooked on hydra [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] and how do i increase the draw distance? works fine at mojave but in DC i can barely see 100m forward
are you trying to get "safety deposit box"? if so, the "sneak out method" is just running back he way you came from after the final conversation with elijah just open the door and leg it
You can sneak into the thing he comes out from, then the exit is just a few meters away. It's just really fucking tricky to do it.
