I think you can't kill it just so you can have somewhere to obtain weapons if you killed everyone. [editline]14th March 2013[/editline] Its Yes Man but instead of allowing you to beat the game it just lets you buy stuff.
I think you can tcl into his stall and shoot him, buy I might be wrong
You can but the game will regenerate him.
No. It scales. You're not going to run into GRA brush guns at level three. Also the uniques are hidden in safes, footlockers and the like with pretty hefty locks. Most of what I find is simply GRA versions of what they already carried. Say, instead of Laser Pistol, a fiend might have a Laser Pistol (GRA) on 'em. MFC cluster grenades and the like spawn from time to time too.
Personally I'd prefer it didn't scale, but they gave them to enemies that are stronger than most others.
Is it odd that I play my game almost unmodded? All I have for mods is EVE, ENB, and NMCs texture pack. Unless there's a mod that adds more things to fight instead of leaving most of the wasteland empty, then I'm perfectly fine with the way New Vegas plays.
Same here, I'm really hesitant to mod, as I've said before. I'm probably just play it until I get really bored of everything and start getting quest mods. I feel left out. Both Reno and Las Vegas have been featured in games, and I'm fairly sure Carson City is mentioned. I think having Elko as a location would be awesome, as a trade route between New Reno and New Canaan/ Salt Lake. I mean, that's what we are in real life, a stop between Reno and Salt Lake
and start getting quest mods.
Good luck with that, Someguy200 has the monopoly on good quest mods.
Is there a way to get rid of Yes Man? [sp]I killed Mr. House in hopes of getting that robot army for myself and help the NCR and other factions I like with it, but apparently Yes Man is unkillable and if I side with him the NCR won't deal with me[/sp]
Yes Man and Vendertron are like the two entities in New Vegas you can't ever kill.
Unless you use console commands. Just target them and enter "disable".
Death is the only thing Yes Man won't accept readily.
Death is the only thing Yes Man won't accept readily.
And the fact that you're the Courier Benny shot.
They made yes man invincible so you can't effectively lock yourself out of all the endings
Unless I'm missing part of the story, so far I can't see why I can't side with him and help out the NCR, unless he plans to betray me, that bastard. Funny thing is I completely wiped out Caesar and everybody at the camp and the NCR is still going to war with Legion :v:
They made yes man invincible so you can't effectively lock yourself out of all the endings
I feel like it would be better if you COULD kill yes man, and killing all the main faction leaders would lead to an alternate ending where the Mojave descends into chaos and raiders flood the city. Or just have it be possible to fail the main quest line, that would be fun.

They control about two states or something along those lines iirc.
The Fort isn't the only Legion settlement. They control about two states or something along those lines iirc.
Would be nice if you could completely destroy them and the NCR and the Securitron force and destroy the entire world's population except for one person, using the surplus of medicine that now exists to keep them alive indefinitely for a life of torture eventually ending in you leaving them alone in a destroyed world full of corpses But all jokes aside, it'd be cool to have a Fallout that spans an entire country.
But all jokes aside, it'd be cool to have a Fallout that spans an entire country.
god i'd love this imagine a huge, sprawling, procedurally generated fallout, with a country's worth of ruins and tribes and shit [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] it's definitely possible, at least creating the game world is remember fuel? that game was over 5,500 square miles and it was capable of running on consoles [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] the real difficulty would lie in recording voices and modeling, and other resources like that [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] and it sure as shit won't be happening on bethbryo
Apparently Ceasar is the badass leader of the Legion. So I've wiped out Cottonwood Cove and went to the fort, killed everyone, except the slaves, wiped out Ceasar and his gang and thought I prevented hoover dam from happening. Then Boone comes up and tells me it doesn't really help because are there are lots of followers lining up to replace Ceaser. What the hell? Everything mentioned about the Legion is about Lanius and Ceaser and when you managed to kill one there's apparently a whole new group of Legion people willing to replace Ceaser but never really show up in game. This sucks, I thought I could wipe out the whole Legion.
I skimmed across some of the past pages but couldnt find the name of that mod that combines fallout 3 and new vegas. Excuse me for asking, but what was it called again?
I skimmed across some of the past pages but couldnt find the name of that mod that combines fallout 3 and new vegas. Excuse me for asking, but what was it called again?
tale of two wastelands
Because in games where the focus is killing stuff then usually killing stuff is pretty fun
I don't think this is your kind of game. Might I suggest something else before you speak further?
I have a question : is there a way to 'fail the main quest' in New Vegas ? There are four ways to finish the game : Mr. House, NCR, Caesar and Yes Man but what happens if you kill these four leaders who gives you the main quests ? I'm asking that because I challenged myself by making a new character and killing absolutely every living thing in the Mojave :
B-b-brother? Whats the command in console to improve my sneak skill to 10 in FO3? Oops I mean 100
Whats the command in console to improve my sneak skill to 10 in FO3?
10 is really fucking low
Whats the command in console to improve my sneak skill to 10 in FO3?
player.modav <skill name here> <any positive number here will increase your skill, any negative number here will lower it.>
god i'd love this imagine a huge, sprawling, procedurally generated fallout
Imagine a fallout that uses Google Maps as a reference to procedurally generate whatever part of the world you want to play in, places like hospitals would be full of stimpaks and other medical stuff, military bases would have weapons, etc, etc... this would have to be done with the old fallout 1/2 look and feel though, which I wouldn't mind.
it could be done in a first person perspective if it used google earth's heightmaps
It could be done, but you'd need to have one hell of an engine to handle the whole exterior world in a seamless way. (something like the Outerra engine)
why would you kill him fucking monster
i tried not to, i really did but after repeating the dialog like 4 times i got fed up and beat him with a crowbar [editline]15th March 2013[/editline]
it could be done in a first person perspective if it used google earth's heightmaps
as much as i hate it, EA's frostbite engine is promised to do this already, thats what Generals 2 or w/e the hell they want to call it now, is/was/will be at some point, top down rts with the ability to zoom in to foot level and command troops there, doesn't seem like it would be too impossible to use the frostbite engine for it (but modding goes out the window with this) [editline]15th March 2013[/editline]
Whats the command in console to improve my sneak skill to 10 in FO3? Oops I mean 100
player.modav sneak [add number] [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] on a side note, any fallout game they make next should definatly have a crowbar, because tire irons just don't have the legacy and pristige, and as half-life has tought us, everything can be solved by poking it with a crowbar
I don't think this is your kind of game. Might I suggest something else before you speak further?
I was joking.
