I actually assumed that was some ENB at first glance.

those radscorpions dont have a a chance now
Hey guys, question I had pasted from another forum:
I want to bump this with a question that I can't seem to find an answer for. I recently beat F:NV so I was in the mood to boot up and play through F3. I installed Wanny's ENB preset, installed the fix for weapon transparency, started a new game and was greeted by this:

Pretty much everything is transparent. Is this a known problem or anything?

There is no fix. You are the chosen one.
Go forth and smite the Deathclaw menace!
Anti-Aliasing off, as well as Anistrophic Filtering since the ENB forces that, and disable water displacement.
All of those are off in the game config. Only thing is I think I was forcing AF via drivers.
So I just started Fallout 2 and I'm not going to lie, I'm having a bit of a tough time with it. Any suggestions as to what I should invest my skill points in for early game? Small Guns? Melee?
Small guns wouldn't be bad. Neither would unarmed, but mainly for the dude at the end. The big thing to remember when going through the temple, is to kick/melee - I usually threw the spear and then did this - the giant ants once and use your remaining AP to run backwards.
After the temple, talk to literally everyone with a name in your village to get a good handle on the game and some free stuff. The witch doctor dude can heal you, so you should use him whenever you get hurt. Use your Science skill on the well to fix it for some free XP - and to shut your nephew up.

Depends on what you built the character for, if it's a high agi/perception then invest in small guns along with mostly lockpick and speech since those are the most useful skills in the game. If it's a high strength character then you should swap small guns for unarmed and pick the one OP perk for it later on. For the late game i recommend picking a secondary weapon skill that better fits your character, either big guns or energy weapons.
If you're not sure what your character is then i recommend starting over and making another one with some extra planning, there are some helpful guides for FO2 with build suggestions, go for one if you're lost and you should get a better idea of the game. And if you have any questions about quests or locations you can always check the wiki.
Oh, and traps is fucking useless, doctor over first aid, Luck is useful. I think that covers it.

For the most part, I have most base stats at five but I did take some out of charisma, I think perception and luck in favor of boosting my intelligence and strength.

That works for a melee character if you didn't take out too much from luck. You can use unarmed as your primary combat skill since it's pretty good and get big guns later on, you don't need a good aim to fire rocket launchers and miniguns.

Sounds good, thanks for all the advice!

After it happens try clicking on him and then entering "startconversation player greeting". If that doesn't work, let me know and i'll dig around in his scripts and dialogue to see what topic you should start at.

Not sure if its because im using mission mojave and jsawyer at the same time but i will try that
I tried that it still brought up his normal talk options and not the unique one he gives you
I was always under the assumption that the Power Fist is a big metal gauntlet with some cloth glove bits around the hand part, with attached metal bits on the fingers. Every piece attached.
I hadn't thought about it much before, but you wouldn't be able to put it on your left hand really easily, would you? Not like you can turn it inside out or upside down like a pair of mittens. This is making me wonder if there were any left handed variants ever made, for lefties or people who want a power fist on each hand.

now that i think about it, its odd that there isnt a duel power fist weapon
I'm thinking of replaying either NV or FO3 with unarmed, and the reason I didn't want to try it in 3 is because how limited and difficult unarmed seems to be.
But then I remembered Operation Anchorage has the stealth suit. Huehuehue

Wouldn't it be Power FistS at that point?
Installed Increased Wasteland Spawns.
Walk into Primm. Suddenly, around twenty or so escaped convicts start firing guns at me, and I end up hiding inside the Mojave Express, planting frag mines at the door and slashing anyone who comes in with a Machete.
Things got better after I repaired ED-E, so it's all cool!

Released a Metro 2033 double barrel shotgun, get it while it's hot.

I think NV has special moves that you can do while unarmed, not sure if 3 has them

I was playing dead money, and i was in a building, and there was these ghosts right? so all of the sudden they phased through the ground and so did ED-E. I followed them and I went below the game area. wtf

Oh gods yes.
Please make the revolving one. Hot damn.
Make everything kthxbai
Make everything kthxbai
Neither Mill nor Trent1541 are interested in making more, sorry to inform you guys.
the revolving shotgun wouldn't work properly. It would look the same, but the animations would just be stock FONV animations, not the awesome ones from Metro.
A revolving shotgun wouldn't work, period. There are no cylinder based animations for two handed weapons at all. Every shitty implementation I've seen where people have tried it have them swapping the whole cylinder out (and the cylinder doesn't actually move).
Fallout 4 NEEDS support for custom animations. Jesus fuck, if NV or FO3 had custom animation support... Just imagine what kind of shit we could have gotten. No reloading shotguns by flicking the iron sights and floating magazines, that's for certain.
Also, I'm currently doing another "Reinstall new vegas and mod the shit out of it and start a new run", anyone have a recommendation for mods that change the game a whole lot? I usually just go with Project nevada, a damage changing mod and a bunch of other random addons.
I thought new vegas could already use custom animations
