Like side characters from the Saturday Morning Post Apocalyptic Cartoon Show instead of residents of new Vegas. I mean I wasn't hoping that Sunny feeds her dogs strips of human meat to make it a better attack dog, but [i]some[/i] kind of edge would have helped make them a bit more believable. But unfortunately since I have both Project Nevada and IWS installed, trying to do the first 'Rescue mah girlfriend from the geckos' quest ended up with me getting my legs bitten off by a flash mob of six little anklebiters. I need help where I can get it.

PN had a harder early game but as soon as you get decent items you murder everything
What's the best monster mod for NV? I'm mainly looking for something lore friendly and doesn't try to cram in as much random shit as possible.
I just realized that I've had this game for almost three years. I still haven't completed a game. I always play through for a while, then get bored of it.
i'll be honest, the FO3 theme will never be as dear to me as My Chrysalis Highwayman or Moribund World.

And on a similar note, does anyone know where a copy of Monster Mod v10 might be located? Most of the critters in the mod I don't like the look of, but I'd really like a two headed nightstalker as a resource.

The music and random encounters keeping you from reaching your destination immediately. Fast travel always seemed to much of a cheat to me.

or atleast make it like they did it in STALKER call of pripyat hire some guards or tag along with another group of travellers and many things would affect how often/bad encounters are such as the size of the group, survival skill, start location, destination and just luck oh and have some kind of route system so that i cant teleport from he strip to goodsprings just like that instead there would be a 98% chance of running into a pack of deathclaws if you take the shortest route or then you take 3 days to loop around through novac, nipton and primm this is a role playing game stop breaking your own immersion fallout!

10 luck, jinxed in 2 is amazing I've been in two random ecounters (people vs. dogs and mobsters vs. mobsters) and by level 3 I had a .223 pistol, a flamer, grease gun, and 14mm pistol.
