Anyone know how i can make a certain npc completely ignore an enemie through the geck? like not attack him at all
Add him to the same faction as the enemy.
would you guys think itll be acceptable to play through fallout 3 using the TTW thingamajic?
i mean, the mod works like that, right?
Yes, and I have done exactly that. You even start in Vault 101 if you start a new game with TTW. If you don't, like me, you'll have to hack Moriarty's terminal to kick the MQ into gear.
Anyone know how i can use FOSE and still get the community hub available in game?
It should work fine. I've got NVSE installed and the overlay works perfectly, including the community hub.

Add that enemy to the NPC's faction and attach a script that will remove said faction alliance when required. Should work.
what are the best mods for fallout 2?
what are the best mods for fallout 2?
The ones listed on the OP along with Sfall and the restoration project.
can i get links or are they easily findable on NME?
also what do those two mods do?
Add him to the same faction as the enemy.
There's also a specific faction that makes most enemies friendly to the NPC (The Sunset Sarsapallira Star Cap Duelists, for example.)

What would the script look like?

You can usually find those on NMA, check the gog.com forums if you can't, there's a Fallout 2 modding thread there.
Sfall fixes color, resolution and other crap, the restoration project adds back a bunch of cut content and improves on a good portion of the game.
time to reinstall fallout 2
What would the script look like?
i'm not sure. I'm not much of a scripter myself. I know some things, I just don't know how to actually make them happen.
And after 88 hours finally finished F:NV.
[sp]House is in charge. Quite few things were destroyed by House/others and so many regrets for not doing. And all I got was this presidential suite...[/sp]
And after 88 hours finally finished F:NV.
Might want to spoiler tag that.
[sp]I killed house, destroyed his robo army, sided with the NCR, and diplomatically got caesar to give up in my first playthrough. If you kill him you can still have the presidential suite[/sp]

That last part, you can do that? I just kill the bastard. Had no idea diplomacy with him was possible.
YAY NOW I DON'T HAVE TO DO IT MYSELF

Any one here use the Tale of Two Wastelands mod? It took forever to get it working but is so awesome to play.

It's a must-have mod for me, though I do prefer starting in the Mojave. Vault 101 can go eat a bag of rusty uranium dildos for all I care.

you get to keep your character and items and such between games with this? that's pretty awesome, i've never heard of this mod somehow
I think you could just install an alternate start mod from fallout 3. IIRC you can use fallout 3 mods just fine with TOTW
I actually like her a bit but what really bothered me about her (and Doc Mitchel) was that they both seemed so earnestly good. Like side characters from the Saturday Morning Post Apocalyptic Cartoon Show instead of residents of new Vegas.
I mean I wasn't hoping that Sunny feeds her dogs strips of human meat to make it a better attack dog, but some kind of edge would have helped make them a bit more believable.
But unfortunately since I have both Project Nevada and IWS installed, trying to do the first 'Rescue mah girlfriend from the geckos' quest ended up with me getting my legs bitten off by a flash mob of six little anklebiters. I need help where I can get it.
I don't know what IWS is, but I was able to pop the geckos before they reached me. Just don't use vats.
Anyone have a link to that mod that let you pick what faction you were gonna do Lonesome Road for?
I looked everywhere but obviously not everywherenough
allright

How does it run? like is it really laggy and unstable?

Tryed that Elliot is still being a dick
[IMG_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/ScreenShot016.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Im changing the faces and certain things of Mothership Zeta a bit, Elliot had no combat tag skills which caused him to do shitty with every weapon he had so i changed that, he also wears a medic combat helmet now and uses a Chinese assault rifle
How does it run? like is it really laggy and unstable?
New Vegas crashes less with TTW installed than it did pre-TTW for me. It's actually quite stable for the most part. Mods can, of course, cause issues, especially if you're trying to use Fallout 3 mods, but by and large it's quite stable. Framerates are fine too, I actually get better framerates in DC than I do in Vegas :v:
You'll want the 4gb aware mod, though. TTW uses an assload of ram.
you get to keep your character and items and such between games with this? that's pretty awesome, i've never heard of this mod somehow
Yeah, any character in New Vegas can roam DC freely. Can't port FO3 saves in, though.
Yeah, I hope people make alternate starting mods for it soon. So many possibilities with both of those games combined.

I think you could just install an alternate start mod from fallout 3. IIRC you can use fallout 3 mods just fine with TOTW
There is no need. The TTW crew says they're only limiting new games to DC in this version to bugfix the DC start. Rumor has it the next version will limit everyone to a New Vegas start for the same reason. Versions after that should allow starting in either wasteland.

2500HP is nothing for him. It's an old Broken Steel bug wherein they don't have level caps. Fawkes is bad about it too, he's got somewhere in the neighborhood of 50,000HP in my game.

Reminds me of that webcomic about a nuclear war where the guy was nuts and spoke to his dog (and the dog talked back) :v:
What are good mods for a new experience, besides Project Nevada?
I don't want the same boring ol' apocalypse.

Well I know you said no PN, but I'm running a combo of TTW, Project Nevada, FOOK, The Armory and on Hardcore mode, and it's the most fun I've had in New Vegas I've had in a long time. It's fantastic, and you actually have to plan your actions to not be completely fucked over. Even the powder gangers in prim are a challenge.
