I was just in a firefight in SMP mod for SHOC, one of the neutral stalkers was fucking around with a grenade when he got pegged as I was rushing the last bandit with the RPK-74 spraying bullets everywhere. Next thing I know there's an explosion and the guy who dropped that grenade earlier goes sailing past me. Made my day :buddy:

Went into x8, and my first mutant encounter went like this: Completely empty room, nothing in sight. Suddenly, rats come out from nowhere, still no signs of anything else around, except the rodents of course. (which I was hearing as soon as I entered.) Then, all of the sudden, a burer grunted, and must've hit me through a wall or something because I automatically dropped my weapon and then the rodents ate me. There was only one viable entrance, and I looking right at it the entire time, there wasn't any damn burer there.

Or one of them hit you and ran off. I think there's a trigger that spawns rats and 2 burers. I've only had it once walking around but second attempt I was sticking to walls and trying to jump on objects etc.

I also never saw the Burer, yet it took my fucking PKM. Don't worry it's not in the upper levels of the lab, it's only in the lower levels where you find optional documents.

I was low on AK ammo and my desert eagle only had one clip left. Rushed it and ran straight back out.

Yeah, I encountered three Burers in x8. At the same time. There is no way to beat 3 burers, I just had to run.

I installed Atmosfear but it didn't affect anything. I also updated to the latest gfx drivers and directx versions to make sure it wasn't those. I have no clue why it's running so badly.

X8 was pretty much the only time I used the gauss gun in the entire game. I killed the 4 Burer squad so fast it was almost unfair :v: Also there are like 6 or so documents.
