I usually just sprint away then shoot at them till they get to close then sprint more.

Funny how such a simple code creates such large problems, it's actually very interesting.
Fucking hell. The damn burers just don't fucking die. At [sp]LAB X8[/sp] I thew 30 grenades(3/4 were direct hits) and shot around 400 bullets and it just won't die. The shield isn't up because i see the blood coming out of it. fuck brb edited burer hp stats.

Especially when you read too fast or just miss the place where you get the code. On another note, aren't the Pseudogiants in CoP a little overpowered? I mean, I wasted 600 AK bullets and 200 buckshot rounds to kill one. Compared to the ones from SoC these are gods.

I killed them with my Striker and knife. Was kind of hard, hate those flying objects.

Just keep strafing and unload a bunch of shotgun rounds at them when they miss you or while they're mid air. I killed one in 15 seconds that way.
Snorks are damn annoying, they move fast, and do a fair amount of damage if they hit you, lucky for me one jumped into the wall and clipped into it, and the other was unlucky enough to run into a fire anomaly that tracked him. X18, your traps are also life savers.

X18, your traps are also life savers.[/QUOTE] I find Snorks to be annoying only in CoP. In SoC they're pretty much Zone's retarded baby that walks like a crab. Until they appear in numbers and start jumping all over you, plus they're always hiding in grassy and dark areas. In CoP they're especially annoying, I just unload as many bullets as I can and then I haul ass out of there before they start dryhumping me.
Their animations aren't very smooth so it's hard to shoot the fuckers.

Get up close to a burer while unloading on him and he will put up his shield instead of attacking you. As soon as he lowers the shield unload on him and it's almost instant death. I was able to kill one with only five shells from the Eliminator upgraded with level 1 upgrades. [editline]04:02PM[/editline] You get so much awesome shit in CoP so quickly almost everything is easy.
Just bought CoP now my steam triangle of stalker is complete.

Alright, So I got it to load faster and stop the annoying freeze ups during game play with a mod, but can anyone please help me fix this other problem? When I quick save the game freezes for up to a minute and a half. I can't just go to the menu and save because When It freezes for about 3 minutes when I hit escape... any help please?

How do you keep a radioactive artifact from radiating you? Do you have to have a counteractive artifact of the equivalent amount of radiation? Because I'm using a fully upgraded SEVA suit and I still take radiation and lose health from a fucking Fireball artifact.

You could say you're just carrying the artefacts already behind your armor, so your armor wouldn't do anything (maybe it would block the positive effects aswell?).
Is mods a MUST have on call of pripyat?
