S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: *Spot Bloodsucker* I didn't want to go there anyway - Games

I'm also having some problems with the rain effects. The splashes look ok, though they're almost invisible unless lit by lightning or sun [img]http://www.shrani.si/f/1c/oQ/2xrqU37c/xrengine-2010-02-22-20-3.jpg[/img] [img]http://www.shrani.si/f/e/bU/3K1fC3A0/xrengine-2010-02-22-20-3.jpg[/img] The real problem is in the horizontal surfaces, they look completely wrong when it rains: [img]http://www.shrani.si/f/S/I0/3W1qn4jG/xrengine-2010-02-22-20-3.jpg[/img] There's these vertical stripes appearing on them, there's also noticeable aliasing within the texture when i move around. The only thing this effect does is blend a simple panning texture onto the walls. I'm sure it wasn't intended to look like this. Any fixes?

THEM! Those are the no-good commie loving pieces of shit that locked me out of that very room when an emission hit. Those shit-heads. I killed every last one of them. [editline]03:21PM[/editline] From the looks of it they locked one their own outside as well. They're dicks.

Sometimes when it's about to blowout, and I see stalkers (usually they are bandits) hiding in one spot, I tend to throw a few nades inside the room, it's hilarious to see them flee outside or just die in explosion.

Slasher is cool, he is the only Merc I really have liked in the series.

Which is the best Clear Sky mod that makes it so it isn't so ball bustingly hard even on the lowest difficulty setting?

I've been working on a stalker drawing but I'm uber tired. I'll try and finish it tomorrow since I'm only in 3 hours at college. Fan art soon fellow stalkers :v:

I managed to find the Poltergeist in X8 that was making life difficult. Felt good to make it go pop.

So I was on the bridge getting my gas canister then alluvasudden I hear gunfire, I look up and see it's the Mercs near me. I just think it's them shooting mutants and I continue my business, Then I get shot and I turn around to see they were actually shooting at me and now the whole base has come out to play. So then I was stuck on a bridge behind a truck having an epic fight with Mercs. Eventually I killed them all and went to collect my prizes, I had looted most of them when I came to one who was alive. I pulled out my knife ready to stab the poor bugger on the ground when I decided to pause and scream at seano on steam. After I finished that I unpause and the Merc fucking got up and shot me 6 times with his damn pistol, luckily I had my trusty gun out by that point and unloaded a couple of clips into his Exo-Suit face. I went into the processing plant they were protecting and got my pants sprayed with shit when I was fired upon by a rookie Merc. I turned around and shot his foot, thus killing him.

Some gun battles in this game are awesome. If you roleplay, they can last 30 minutes.

Reminder for those playing CoP, kill the bloodsucker lair in Zaton if you have the chance. It will impact you in the end of the game.
