Are any good mods even in development for CoP? Vanilla's kind of getting boring and SMRTER doesn't really look all that great.

Holy shit I just encountered my first dwarf. I was at one of the evacuation sites near the scientist base, I was looking around in the building when I found the code to the underground. I went down and unlocked the door and straight away I freaked out, " Great an underground" I said. I kept on walking and saw some rats, then I found the vent and walked around the side and killed some rats. I popped on my trusty ol' night vision and walked into the room and saw something to my left. I turned and looked at it and I couldn't figure out what it was until it moved. I screamed and fired at that ugly bitch, I hurt it bad and he fired his mind lazers at me. My gun fell out of my hands as I was running to cover, I ran to pick it up and I saw it again and this time it was ready for me. He fired another blast that knocked me back on my ass and 6 feet, with my trusty gun in hand I fired another round into his face, It didn't do much but then I decided I had to play nasty. I got out my shotfun and ran straight at him , and blew his face off. I then teabagged him for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Yeah, It seems like something that would make the game even harder. Also is there any confirmation on the no quick saves?

I'd love LURK for CoP Assuming they still have quick saves.

So I finally got it and played for a couple of hours. Haven't done much actually. The only cool thing that happened to me was encounter a bandit camp under a bridge and they nearly killed me a few times but I slowly wiped them out... with my shotgun none the less! :D I'm surprised at how crappy it runs on my PC. I can run all my other games at max settings but for this I have to remove all the "Soft ____" and "Volumetric ____" stuff so it can run ok. Nighttime is pretty damn creepy. Damn flashlight isn't bright enough.
