Also, if me and BuddieBBB released a "Oblivion Lost Throwback" mini-mod, would anyone use it? Me and him have been talking about it... We'd just be restyling a lot of things (not maps!) while keeping vanilla gameplay similar. Old-style weather, old weapon textures, old weapon origins, old style particles, etc...Of course, we'd improvise with certain things. *shrugs* Obviously, it'd be more of a modpack. But it'd have SOME original work in there. Maybe using a tweaked aliVe 1.6 as a base, along with some of ZRP's functions, the blowouts from Priboi Story (modified to fit our needs)...etcetera. I unno, it's just an idea right now.. I mean we have a functional mod right now, it's just buggy as all hell and a lot of things need fixing.

today i downloaded directx 10 for xp, and i started getting the BSOD in the garbage level in stalker soc, and ive played through garbage before except with dx9.0, where can i download 9.0c?

It's currently not possible to have DX10 on XP without completely rewriting the OS due to the driver models. All it can really do is cause problems. Just uninstall it. I can't believe people still fall for that thing.

You can't register retail STALKER on STEAM. Your boned if you want that discount, the steam version without the loyalty is 10$ cheaper then store anyway.
