I was playing stalker because I couldn't sleep, as my dad has a bunch of drunk people over.
Then the sounds of the game made one of his friends cry (i don't know how they heard it but LOL), so I had to turn it off. :|

I have a fucktone of screenshots, they will be on in a week or so I hope if I get around to it.
and my current game is fucked. Lab X18/16 first lvl door won't open even with the code, and I cant get it open with a gun either. So I will probaly just go and murder all in Pripyat, get bored and go to the NPP and dont run for the wish granter but head for a little exploration.
now. who find mutants scary? I don't any more. I go looking for them.

well the controller is ugly and easy to kill, Blood suckers can't run faster than you, you can shoot, run away a bit, shoot. Snorks jump into my bullets and all the others get shot in the head.
Guns are scarier.

So before doing this task I decided to explore Yantar first, try to see if I could [sp]find Ghost.[/sp]
As I arrived at Yantar, I decided to get a little side mission from that scientist in the Bunker, he told me to [sp]go get a unique suit in some Lab[/sp]. I feel like I'm skipping something, does this have to do IN ANY WAY with the [sp]"find the documents in the underground lab"[/sp] mission?

Been to dark valley lab? If not go there, then barkeep, then back to Yantar and follow the missions you get.

Also, The maps in Stalker SHOC are huge beyond the boundaries. What if someperson with the skillz made a mod that added to the maps, making them bigger. Like at the BAR i found a dirt round that started at the edge of the map and ended some where near the bar behind a building. now, heres my proposition. We need to somehow extend the reaches of the zone, making the experience funner and fuller, adding more labs/underground areas, more awesomeness.
I think if the bar was surrounded by mutant groups and you had to defend against rushes, that would be awesome. there is just sooooooo much more room to expand. the inhabited are of the maps are probaly only like 1/6th of the maps, maybe less for the bigger ones.
I finished the mission, I don't think it had to do with it at all. (by the way, the lab I was in was X16)
(by the way, it was awesome, way too many snorks though, gasmask wearing freaks)

Oh fuck, I think I fucked up real big now.
I was supposed to bring Sakharov this Ghost suit, I had it and all, went to him, and begun trading with him, sold it.
Now, the quest still is there, and I can't hand him it and get any rewards, and I haven't gotten anything for the [SP]X16[/sp] mission yet either!
So here I am in LURK, giving documents to the barkeep and not getting a stalker suit as a return.
Man, if I don't earn some serious cash I'm gonna be pissed.

Any of you tried to extract Call of Pripyat .db* files? Because I found something hilarious. There was a folder in the sound/ folder called car. So, I checked it out because as far as I know there aren't cars drivable there. Well, if someone does extract the files, check out trabantnoise.ogg

I can't figure out how to do it. The only database extractor I can find is the one for ShoC and it comes up with an error (unknown filetype or something) when I try to extract CoP .db files.
