When I tried doing that I got mauled by them before I even checked the first house.

Kind of late I guess but I am playing through stalker SOC again after awhile. Just beat X18. God it was scary, atmosphere made me shit my pants. I guess I can wait till X16 :gonk:

X16 isn't so bad.

However, it has a load of rotting corpses laying around and the rusty, wet walls of the lab are quite disturbing and remind me of Silent Hill.

Seriously, I have created an entire concept and techniques for this. Also training techniques and buddhist-like mind-clearing and concentration stuff to master the art of stab-jitsu. I use a similar style of your tactic, only the knife is replaced with a shotgun.

So, now that I've finished CoP, it's time to start the second playtrough. I'm gonna do fucking everything this time.

On my second playthrough, I worked for that asshole Sultan. Afterwards the Bandits are friendly with you.

If you want to replay Clear Sky, play definietly CS Enhanced, it literally enhances the vanilla gameplay. There are a lot of small changes, new features and new items. Furthermore if you like the Faction War aspect of the game get Total Factional Warfare, although the whole storyplot is removed.

To be honest, the mod is great, everything worked fine, overall the game is more balanced and it's a lot more fun then Vanilla.

I'm really enjoying Call Of Pripyat, it's way better than the other 2 games (only bought 'em because they were cheap as fuck).
