On my second playthrough, I worked for that asshole Sultan. Afterwards the Bandits are friendly with you.
Regardless if you're friends or not they'll shoot at you if you don't surrender your money at their checkpoints, it pissed me off so much.
Oh wow... I just realized that the AK's in CoP use a different type of ammunition. 5.45 is fucking tiny. What's up with that? I've never even heard of that type of round.

Russian Primary Ammo after Cold War: 5.45x39mm. NATO Primary Ammo: 5.56x45mm. 7.62 is a heavy bullet and doesn't have very good range, but the penetration is amazing. Recoil is high. 5.56 has an incredible range, but it doesn't penetrate much. Recoil is low. 5.45 has a good range (Almost as good as the 5.56), but the penetration is closer to that of the original 7.62mm ammo. Recoil is very low.
My god...I just played SoC on my new computer...it runs so well, it's such a vast improvement over the 2 FPS, everything at low, of my old laptop. So beautiful.
Where do i find my saves for CS (steam version)? I want to back them up so i can always play them again before i start a new game. When i look in the save folder, nothing's there.
..Steamsteamappscommonstalker clear sky_appdata_savedgames?
Nothing in there. Oh well, i don't really care anyways.
Got bored today, took some stalker pictures, these are the best of the bunch

I should, in case I run into some anomalies in the woods.
yeah, i was disappointed cause the movie wasn't really about stalker, but it definitely wasn't a waste of time to watch anyway.
The film stalker came out in 1979 [editline]04:48PM[/editline] The game came out 2007, Technicly the game isn't like the movie
they need to make a new stalker movie
they need to make a new stalker movie
First a STALKER game with Co-Op.
The film stalker came out in 1979 [editline]04:48PM[/editline] The game came out 2007, Technicly the game isn't like the movie
yeah but i heard the game was based off it.
It kind of is. [editline]10:07PM[/editline] Except without the aliens. [editline]10:07PM[/editline] Well actually it's based off of Roadside Picnic, the book upon which the Stalker movie is itself, based.
Game is based off the book/film very loosely.
Yeah don't rent the movie thinking it will have mutants and gunfights, the movie and the game are two totally different things. They have very little in common.

That mod looks sexy.
So I bought Clear Sky a couple of weeks ago having never played any STALKER games. Took me a while to get into it but now I fucking love it. As I am getting into to it, an emission warning pops up and instead of running to the shelter in the current area I was in(Garbage), I knew there was a closer one in the Cordon so I loaded that area to go to that shelter. Eight hours I had to wait for the emission to happen, but it never does and my main quest goes back to normal. Anyways what happened after was that in all the Stalker areas like the Depot in Garbage and the main base at the Cordon, the stalkers are all sitting/standing in a row, and there are no guides. Now after this story what I am asking is there a way to reset the NPC's or fix this or am I fucked? 'Cause I don't really want to start a new game... Anyway here's a pic to show you what they are doing. And if no one knows what the hell is happening with my game, we can all just wonder what these guys are doing sitting so close to each other, and why there are three other stalkers just staring at them. Oh and there are some more in the background.

Boy, you just stepped into the zone's finest gay-stalker strip-club. Enjoy your stay
