Got invaded for the first time a few days ago. Some guy with a flame greatsword. I had the Iaito and the Windcrest shield with the standard Wanderer outfit. He killed me just outside of Solaire's room in Anor Londo. Oh well. Been killing Silver knights for a while and got the Silver Knight Longsword. It is now my new favourite weapon. Also, what are those white rings on the ground for? I've seen them often, but can't do anything with them.

Sup dudes, never been here before but I just want some opinions. I played Demon's Souls before, didn't finish it though since I got it borrowed from a friend and had to give it back. I loved it's difficulty and I loved having to watch my every move. I'm thinking about getting Dark Souls, does it have anything to do with Demon's Souls story-wise? And the price for the PC game is currently U$29,90 here in Brazil, opposed to PS3's U$49,90, I read sometime ago that the computer version had some problems etc but I'm not on par with it's current situation.

PC version uses GFWL but is just fine when you get DSfix, and you can play with mouse+KB if you get the mouse fixes. With those it's superior than the console versions in fact, apart from some networking issues.

Gamepad will always beat KB and mouse.

When you get it you want to get DSfix to... fix pretty much all the "console port" issues the game has. Runs like a dream from then on out!

Wow, my friend who has never played the game before is doing pretty well in pvp. He wanted to experience invasions and such, so when he started playing I used CE to set him as permanently human. When he was about to enter Darkroot Garden I was thinking of turning CE off for a moment as he'd probably get ganked hard, but he defeated three invaders in a row before he was taken down.

What CE table are you using? The one I'm using seems to be outdated/not working. None of the values show up and whenever I try to access my inventory, the game crashes.
