forgive me if i seem mean or something, finding things out for yourself is immensely satisfying
Yeah it's understandable. If anything I look into the wiki on item info.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck. I want to start a new game, but it only takes half an hour before I feel like things have gotten easy. Even with no shield runs, or restricting myself to, like a shortsword or a bandit knife for the entire game, things feel easy after an hour at most. I miss the challenge :(

Then play more than half an hour and move on to more difficult areas......
I think the newbies got to Anor Londo. Had three or four people run away, then disconnect. More sight unseen disconnects than I can count. Chased one guy from the O&S fog gate all the way to the rotating staircase- and back.
Well, by Anor Londo, you've learned how to do the PVE aspect but by then, PVP might still be new. I wasn't human very often even by the time I got to Anor Londo. Of course, dick butts came and raped me whenever I tried to summon help for O&S which was the only reason I used my humanity.
Not getting any invasions in Anor Londo tonight wtf Anyone having troubles like this on PC?
Uh... it takes half an hour before things get easy? The first half of an hour is the easiest part! :v:
But after half an hour I've usually hit blight town. Getting to the "harder areas" doesn't change much. It's still the same matter of "don't get hit." Short of no shield fatroll SL1, I'm too used to the game.

Or you're just denying the fact the game gets harder and want to feel like you're a supa dupa pro player who got gud and is Lordran's Next Top Chose-Undead, so you just stop there and go post a mix of bragging and complaining on the Dark Souls thread on Facepunch.

I'm not bragging or any of that shit, simply stating that shit's easy now, and there' a lot less challenge to be devoured. The game gets harder, yeah, but once you've already completed the game numerous times, and can roll through NG+5 as a SL1 half naked guy with a chaos club and lightning axe, things aren't nearly as hard as they used to be. I'm unsure whether everyone is in a terrible mood or some shit, but that's no way to react to somebody saying that the game has lost its challenge after being played for several years :( PvP is still fun as fuck though.
Just bought this since it went on sale and I wanted to play it again with the DLC since I haven't had my Xbox copy in a while. Now I'm getting some error about failing to connect to the key server or something. God damn it.
If you claim you're not bragging, then you're complaining. And if you're complaining, then no one wants to hear that shit. Do you want sympathy or pity? Do you want new challenges? Either way you'd just say "boo-fucking-hoo been there done that, 2easy4me." Whatever the fuck you're trying to get through, it seems like you're bragging, and no one wants to hear that shit either.

I spent like 2 hours trying to get through the catacombs at the beginning, when I realised I had to go up the hill.

We like to make fun of that mistake, but I think most of us can admit to trying to fight those skeletons before we were supposed to.
We like to make fun of that mistake, but I think most of us can admit to trying to fight those skeletons before we were supposed to.
I can. I did. I died hilariously. It's all part of the learning process. It's also hilarious. "hah, skeletons are so eas-OH GOD MY EVERYTHING IS BEING STABBED OH THIS WAS A HORRIBLE IDEA"
My friend who played this on PS3 before I did was amazed I didn't go to the Elephant Graveyard before the hill. The dude tells you the first bell is up. I took the stairs.
I fought the skeletons once, and realized they were way too strong for my level. But I don't think I actually went that way by mistake my first time. I figured out the "right" way, but I'm pretty sure I ended up exploring in that direction anyway, only to turn around after I fought those first couple of skeletons.
I went and fought the skeletons right away. Rolled and everything and snatched that zweihander, losing maybe a thousand souls in the process. I feel it was worth it for my first time playing :v: [editline]22nd March 2013[/editline] Oh, I didn't even come close to killing most of the skeletons. I just really wanted to see what was back there.

I ran around OH GOD I CANT KILL THESE THINGS ooh shiny GOD DAMNIT I CANT USE THIS YET WHAT THEY FOLLOW ME BACK TO THE BONFIRE OH GOD AHHHH
We like to make fun of that mistake, but I think most of us can admit to trying to fight those skeletons before we were supposed to.
I went to the New Londo Ruins and I was pissed off that I couldn't kill any of the ghosts.
i tried to fight the skeletons in the catacombs for like an hour straight before i realized i was going the wrong way i was told the game was hard so i just assumed that me dying a bunch was just a given
Lmao steam forums are full of man children complaining about the port being bad and you shouldnt buy the game out of principle even though the ds fix literally fixes everything and the game wasn't coming out for PC anyways until the same exact man children bitched then too
welcome to october
I wonder why I haven't been invaded in a long time? The one and only time was in Anor Londo. Meanwhile, while being summoned, I faced a PvPer on 2 separate occasions. How can I get invaded more easily?
The higher level you are, the more likely you are to be invaded. Your ports have something to do with it too, but I've SL100'd in oolacile township and people won't leave me the fuck alone.
Oh. I'm SL16 in UndeadBurg (Second File). First one is SL70 in Duke's Archives. Does sin have anything to do with it?
