Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (XBOX360, PS3, PC) v6- You were Indicted

Got the dark wood grain ring and equipped some Claws. Although I still have to upgrade the claws, I'm having a blast with this.
I'm curious to find out what everyone's invasion procedure is. Do you systematically search for them? do you run to the fog gate to head them off? Do you bow? Grass? What if it's a 2v1? How do you respond to a flask?
For my low level parish invading -when I'm not goofing off as my grim reaper setup- my target is usually waiting for summons near where the soldier hollows are, if not, it isn't difficult to locate them. I typically bow or wave, they usually mirror me, and we begin our fight. If they flask, attack me while bowing, or I realize they are a lot stronger than I assumed, I'll whip out my pyromancies. And for encounters of 2 or more, I'll use my Lightning Flamberge (which is surprisingly strong against groups), I try to prioritize their summons first before taking out the host to create a 1v1 situation.
And if I keep invading someone and they keep losing, I'll start giving them gifts and fooling around with them.

if you're quiet you can hear the footsteps. otherwise i just kind of go towards the natural progression. sometimes you'll see health bars pop up so you have a vague idea of where they are.
i bow if they're far enough away that they can't punish it. if they're in close, no bows. grass is the same. if they estus, i fight dirty.
Better than the dad mask, generally less good than the kid mask.

IMO the mother's mask in the best... although it's also the ugliest :v:

It really depends on what mood I'm in.
I first tend to run to the bonfire to see if they're there. If not, I start moving forward until I find them.
If I notice the host running straight for the fog gate, and clearly doesn't want to fight, then I won't cheap shot him, and usually won't chase him down.
As for bowing, I wait to see what the other player is doing. If it's a bunch of shield play and standing around, then a bow is usually good. But sometimes they'll come straight up and attack you.
Hardly ever use items in PvP unless it's resin.
As for 2vs1/3vs1, I wait to see what the party is like. Sometimes you'll get parties that will fight you one at a time (which is great), but then you'll get parties where everyone gangs up on you at once (which is so much more satisfying to kill them all).
And lastly, if I'm up against a real gangker who tries to pull off a lot of cheap shots and uses estus flasks, I'll do what I can to cheap shot them or run back and heal myself if I have too.
Also, I received a nice message from someone thanking me for not ganking them in the Duke's Archives. The host was AFK at the bonfire and I just stood next to him until he started moving around. Once he came back, we rolled around a bit and then I ended up killing him.
Invading lower level areas as an overpowered piece of shit is just too much fun. So many newbies to fuck around with.

Meant to post this earlier yesterday, but look what I got when I beat the Taurus Demon.

Such a shame I can't wield it yet, but I'm trying to go for a STR build so we'll see.
Just curious, how do you get past the dragon on the bridge in the undead place?
If you go up the stairs, then stand in that little area behind the staircase, eventually it will land on the bridge. You can then run right past it (if you stick to the right side) and it will fly away! Then you'll have the bridge to yourself until you go near the area where Solaire was again.

THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME

The first episode is finished! There are a few issues, namely: The music occasionally overshadows my voice despite my audio ducking. That's most likely going to be fixed in the next video. Let me know if you like it or not!

You can go right up to them if you want.
Loved Demon Souls on PS3, really want this.
Anyone willing to trade it while it's on sale for Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition?
I just killed the Capra Demon. God, that was terrible.
I got killed the first time right after I entered the battle because the fucker charged at me with the dogs helping too. The second time I learned that it's better to run up the staircase since he likes to glitch up and keep hitting the stairs (died by accident after I got staggered). The third time I used to same strategy and owned the asshole using the Gravelord Swords thrusting attack.

I've lately been invading low-levels wearing costumes, so I tend to look for health bars firsr, then unused non-boss fog gates, then enemies that are still alive. If nothing else helps I check the accessible bonfires of the area, open every gate etc with the switches and finally head to the fog gate and set up a bread crumb trail of items that leads to an arena marked with prism stones.
If I'm doing a 2spooky invasion I just walk slowly with the skull lantern without rolling or anything, to limit myself and creep out new players. 2v1 I wait if only one of them engages me, if they seem likely to gank I kill them both if I can.
If the host flasks I take them out and then send a message if it's obviously a new player telling what they should avoid (don't use that knight shield, don't flask if you want a fair fight).
I'm generally trying to give new players positive pvp experiences by limiting myself to no backstabs or ripostes (unless a finishing move), only +5 weapons and dropping them a humanity before the fight.
It's a shame to see so many OP white phantoms in the Parish wielding flip rings, maxed elemental weapons etc. How are you supposed to make the game fun for the host if you can OHKO everything and kill the bosses before he can even touch them?
Hahahaha this game maaan this fucking game... Whenever I'm about to get hit and dodge my milliseconds I can't help but laugh maniacally hahah, I also just [sp]killed that boar... thing, died around 3 times and THEN I found that entrance to the right, from where I killed him with that dropping attack, don't remember it's name right now.[/sp] Then I proceeded to kill those armored dudes etc. Backstabbing is also my new best friend!
Don't get too fond of backstabbing, once you are invaded it may won't work out anymore.

so it was you! I was playing these days with a new character and a weird dragon dude suddenly invades me, I was a little pissed afterwards.
