It is my understanding that this can be faked.
Speaking as a grownup with a full-time job, the way I normally entertain myself on downtime is by following my RSS aggregator which is full of regular news, stuff for my industry, and tons of gaming feeds. Since the beginning of April, I haven't touched a single one of those. Every waking moment I've been rapt in following and participating in this ARG. I just haven't been able to take my mind off of it.
I know we're not done with everything yet, but thank you Valve and other developers for all of the hard work and ingenuity that went in to this. It's been a really amazing 2 weeks. I can't wait to see how this all wraps up.
