All of a sudden, free DOTA for people who preordered Portal 2.

I see a turret, and as you say, looking down into a large room. To me it looks like the P2 COOP HUB or the beginning of the Killing Floor level.
I don't know if anyone's thought of this but could the locations that keep getting mentioned form leylines of some sort?

It appears to be the Borealis, that much is clear. But we can't just go to the hyperbolicmobile and assume it's Half Life related.

It still kind of looks like the G-man to me, though that's probably because I'm actively searching for something to do with Half-life. See the streaks? Those remind of the "streaks" that appear when the G-man begins to talk with you, if I'm making sense.

that DEFINITELY looks like the first person view of the HL2 beta fire extinguisher. Think of the bar at the right as the arm, and his hand is on the trigger, and the white stuff is the fire extinguisher stuff.

In the gamespot preview Erik Wolpaw said that there were going to be Half-Life references in the game and that fans of the series would definitely notice. Could mean the Borealis.
