THE BAR MOVED A TINY LITTLE BIT /c
Ahh no, the numbers don't add up for potatos to equal CPUS, but still I don't think running the games is helping at all, we still need to collect potatos for it to do anything.
Oh, my fault, we need aprox. 300000 players.
Could someone help my friend in getting the Killing Floor potato (the kf_aperture one)? PM me if you'd like to.
You're able to do it alone as long as you create a host listen server on beginner difficulty. It might take a few tries but it does work. If you have trouble finding someone then I'd reccomend this.
The "Computations needed for launch" keeps going up a little bit once in a while. I took a screenshot before, and it is definitely longer now than it was before.
OK let me just play the 13 indie games I didn't buy...oh that's right, I didn't fucking buy them, now I have to sit and wait on all you people that had extra money playing those 13 games to get the game I spent my money on early!
You're retarded. This us just an opportunity to speed up the release.
Sit down and enjoy the fun while people play the games for you and get to release another huge game earlier.
I think that the bars for each game do signify how many people are on at once but how many CPU's have been involved overall.
Defense Grid: 148,000 computers playing Killing Floor: 450,000 Cogs: 22,000 Rush: 15,000 Toki Tori: 17,000 Bit.Trip Beat: 33,000 123 Kick It: 15,000 Audiosurf: 290,000 Wonderful End of the World: 16,000 Super Meat Boy: 250,000 Amnesia: 330,000 AAAAAA!!!: 30,000 The Ball: 28,000
You know, I'm actually happy for this marketing scheme Think of how much dosh the indie developers of these games has gotten
This is going to take forever. Wonder how much it'll go up when everyone gets off of school/work.
how does one use cheat engine with the audiosurf portal song? I search for 0, it finds some, gather 3400 points, scan for that but it doesn't find anything
Someone on SPUF just asked if running multiple instances of the same game help? What do you think? If so, I'll open up as many as I can.
Does anyone know an easy way to get the audiosurf device has been modified potato? I can't get it with novice pointman.
Just hit every block, don't bother matching anything up. Be sure that the companion blocks stay at the bottom, they are worth a ton of points.
Are those the necessary amounts? What's the source?
Portal 2 forums
Yeah, got to remember people, today is friday, in some time zones some people are still at work/school. The numbers will probably Jump over the weekend.
'There's also still time to collect all 36 potatoes. Anyone accomplishing this feat by the time Portal 2 launches will receive a very special, non-hat-based reward.' The consumerist within is going haywire at the 'very special' remark :/ I just can't be bothered hunting the rest.
Someone on SPUF just asked if running multiple instances of the same game help? What do you think? If so, I'll open up as many as I can.
I have all thirteen running atm and have done since GLaDOS loaded :v:

so is getting more potatoes actually helping now? or is it all about the number of people playing one of those games?
Am helping, :buddy:
I have all thirteen running atm and have done since GLaDOS loaded :v:
Steam only records 1 game at a time I guess
