Shit, if it's released on Monday we wont be able to play it all this weekend :saddowns:
It doesn't work like that. We wont always get 5% every 3 hours.
Why not?
Oh, is it playtime? Sorry, I just got home and the wiki is down so I assumed it was the potatoes.
It doesn't work like that. We wont always get 5% every 3 hours.
I can only wish for 10% per 2 hours.
I have 0 potatoes. I don't own all the games in the pack, but I DO own Killing Floor, Audiosurf, Defense Grid, BIT.TRIP BEAT, Cogs, and Super Meat Boy.
Time to get cracking. What are some of the easier potatoes to start me off?
I say Amnesia is the easiest.
Create a profile named Casbah and type in troubled memories

Bit.Trip Beat. Simply completing the <test> level is all that is needed to get one potato. Do it again and try to see if you can get the second one. They go in different random order so you won't always get the same potato from that level.

I don't own Amnesia. :(
Will do Green.

The group is the easiest.

Join that group that gives you a potato.

P.S. Supposedly idling doesn't work. Only playing does. That being said, if you find a way to get audiosurf to auto-replay the songs it will work.
Meat Boy is the easiest out of the ones listed, and Cogs is the hardest.
I don't own Amnesia. :(

My bad
I really cannot do cogs. Can anyone help? i have 220 stars.

Fuck, there was a tutorial for that on the wiki.
I guess I'll be playing AudioSurf then, sweet!
“Remember the Potato Sack? GlaDOS is apparently drawing “power” from
computers playing games in the potato sack. For every collective 48 hours
for one particular game, that game’s “power bar” goes up by 1%. And Steam
needs to record you actually playing the game – just leaving something
idling in the background does not contribute.
The potatoes we all frantically collected can still be collected – in
fact, you are a major contributor if you even collect one potato in one
game. Potatoes multiply that game’s particular power, so if, say, you
gathered 5 potatoes in Audiosurf and one in Bit.TRIP BEAT, you’d be
multiplying EVERYONE’s efforts in Audiosurf by 6x and BIT.TRIP BEAT by 2x.
Some people seem to think that launching multiple games is a good idea.
This is in fact, not helping at all, because Steam only records keyboard
activity in games launched through Steam, not through external launching.”
keep getting those fuck mothering Potatoes.
Woo, 5.06%.

896 stars.
It's from the Wiki:
If you find the levels too hard, or dont have enough stars to unlock the levels/don't have enough time to earn them here is my save file, complete with 896 stars (you may have to complete a level for the counter to update) and all levels Gold.
This will affect achievements, so use at your own risk. Also, it's great fun completing them yourself :)
Place the file in c:/users/*you*/Appdata/Roaming/Lazy 8 Studios/Cogs (Win7)
This all reminds me of that episode of Dexter's Laboratory when he had to use god knows how many potatoes to power a flashlight
Ahhh... good times, good times.
what's the name of the group you can join for a potato?
These are the final hours men. Get your war paint on and game like you've never gamed before.

For anyone having trouble with Cogs, there's a TON of support for that on the Wiki.
If you don't know where to install a save file, check the readme text file in the download.
And if you're having trouble with a puzzle, try using one of the video guides linked on the Wiki.
Wait, so the potatoes are multipliers?
Fuck that, im getting on Defense Grid, since you get about 5 potatoes from that damn game.
Wish I could help, guys. Godspeed.

This is actually a good idea. I might try this.
I'll play some audiosurf and KF to help out.
"And Steam

That's horse shit. Steam can't check if you're doing anything in game or not.
