It's very clear that these are some kind of portal-wielding androids, though. A friend and I speculated together that they might be some sort of foe that, rather than fighting them (what are you going to fight them with, directed energy balls?), you must hide from them when they appear and wait until they pass. Possibly even use portals to escape from them when they pursue you. Something like the SA-X in Metroid Fusion. That game used to make me shit bricks. Of course, that is all pure speculation. It's possible that these are even what you play as in Portal 2. Who knows?

You know, now that I'm looking closely at some of those pictures of certain areas, they look really fucked up. Take a close look at some of them. You can make out details we all know, like test chamber signs and doors, but around all that it looks like ruins. Wires and jagged debris poking out from everywhere. Could Portal 2 be set in a ruined enrichment center or some other Aperture facility after a major devastating event? EDIT: Fucking ninja'd.

Last thing you were on then was the BBS login and password combination which you were about to get a hold of. I wake up I see all these ASCII images and stuff. Can anyone enlighten me what the BBS user and pass were? And what kind of images / text was inside the BBS system?
