I know how we solve this once and for all: Get a really dedicated valve fan to kill himself at his computer with the sound files all open, the detectives will listen to them and will think they have something to do with the suicide and will do our jobs for them! GO GO GO!
What the fuck happened to GLaDOS above the picture of the dual turret, it seems as some weird synth thingy landed on her.
That or people from aperture science sending out messages to any survivors (Or something like that)
That or there was a very important thing/person on the Borealis. Now, imagine the Borealis, being filled with crazy Aperture Science (AS) Tech right? What if, those radios are standard issue on all AS ships? Presuming there might be more of course. The people in the Labs know that out of all the radios in the Borealis, some of them must be near the secret frequency energy whatever field. I'm going to use the abbreviation "SFEWF" for it from now on. That or the morse code frequency was broadcasted throughout the Borealis's PA system, through some radio wave direct signaling device of some sort, and the only other things that can pick the frequency up are AS radios. Now imagine, the AS Lab's people finding out about the Borealis crash, and sending those messages through to the Borealis. Non-stop, until whatever they need, is taken. Like a real life Number Station. In Episode 3, we visit the Borealis, and we look through it, imagine we enter it, and we're just greeted with a massive ship, no enemies, no life forms, because no one could even get passed the AS doors, because that's how important whatever this is was.. But Gordan gets in, just walking through it, with the Dinosaur Codes playing through the radios. Then, we find whatever "it" is that was so precious to AS that they will never stop broadcasting that frequency so technologically encrypt into their own frequencies no one, not even the Combine, have found out about it. I'm starting to think that AS was a laboratory that was into some very very bad things. Also, hold onto your hats, because, if I'm right, Episode 3.
What I know from the pictures of complete destruction is that there might be a second testing facility that will be under ruin that we will most likely go through in Episode 3 or Portal 2.
But then again it's covered in combine shit in the concept art so fuck my theory. But if it was true, it'd be p sweet.
Quote from above article leads me to beleive CJohnson is or part of GLaDOS
Well, hot damn.
I can read it as this: Now, yer probably askin' yourself, "Cave, come on now, how is this pssible? Are you some manner of Dracula? Or Frankenstein? Or dependin' on yer cultural heritage, a Blackula or Latin Frankenstein?" No sir! It's science. Thanks to our diligent Aperture engineers, I am writin' memos to you today, literally, from beyond the grave! Furthermore I'd like to inform everybody wearing a blue shirt today that you are fired. Then, I can't tell.
All of this is creeping me the fuck out. :frog:
Quote from above article leads me to beleive CJohnson is or part of GLaDOS
I thought we had already confirmed that CJohnson was a seperate AI? But, could he could be running on GLaDOS's hardware though, and she has him trapped so he can't manage the facility?
so how can i connect to the bbs?

Was this confirmed today, or has this been known since Portal came out?

I think the borealis thing is not the concept, it's a screenshot. The bridges to the Borealis is in the different possition.
Shit is easy to decrypt if people in the steam forums manage to do it. The combine will have a field day with that.
By encrypted, I mean, no one can get the frequency what so ever, but, it's there, and running. Like an unbelievably high frequency that can't even get picked up with the best non Aperture Science equipment, because, it's 100% full proof, and won't get picked up unless it's made by Aperture Science. Like a 10000000% more complex number station.
stupid question, does the modem have to be connected to a phoneline?
Well it is a phone number. :downs: I tried it last night, and got through, but it disconnected after ten seconds of data transfer. :saddowns:

Is it just me, or does the image at the top-right hand corner look like the DHARMA logo? :lost:
