Soul Ring + Phase.
Best Axe.
The best part of Tranquils is their disassembability(that's not a real word, right).
You can just build them into basilius or vlads or pretty much anything when you're done with them.
I generally avoid blade mail half the time opting more for the Assault Cuirass to help the team out.
Would some form of lifesteal be useful too? Vlad's or MoM?
Is playdota/getdota down for anyone else, or it's just me?
As a MLG Pro-League Axe playerâ„¢ I recommend sticking with normal boots until you can afford BoT.
Axe doesn't need much benefits from the boots, just the movespeed. And now that the broken Tranq's give shit MS which is bad for Axe's low MS. He is supposed to take damage in fights regardless, he is going to loose the benefit fast, thus they are the worst boots for him aside early jungling.
If you find yourself lacking the gold for BoT, you can buy either Phase or Arcanes, whichever suits your playstyle more. (I like Phase more since I can manage my mana just fine with Soulring and occasional Basilus.)
You should still rush Blink and some other core item before BoT though. (Random pointer: Try Armlet instead of Vanguard.)

I just use the cached version
Is scepter also viable if you've got your blink and ample regen and attack speed? Those 6 second culls are really juicy.
I noticed this in the Haunt tooltip
"Spectre physically possesses a chosen Haunt, giving it solid reality. The other illusions remain for the duration of Haunt. "
But my experience is quite the opposite, is that a bug or what?
Medusa is a lot stronger earlygame than I expected. In no way is she a weak laner.

Have you played recently ? It was changed not so long ago to this form.

Snake is powerful harassment/sustainability tool, but Medusa can do little when ganked, including Stone Gaze if she won't get much support from her teammates, as by itself it's just delay for whoever is ganking her.

It's probably not been updated like when they changed Centaurs ult into a slow instead of stun. Up until like the last few patches the text was still from when it stunned.

A short while ago it would disperse them. As it is they do remain.
Just won a pretty close game as Enchantress, was super fun. And then I found a Mythical item.

What item was it?
What item was it?
Vice of the West. Fits well with my Flail of the Great Elder (also Mythical).
Duo buddies who instapick their favourite gimmick combos and go "support please" are frustrating.
Should I trade my Mythical Scythe of twin deaths for the entire Snowdrop CM set?
I really dont know how trading works in this game.

Could you with a normal trader? No. Should you if the you get the chance? Yes. The snow drop set is 13 dollars and pretty desired plus you are only trading one price for the entire other set.
Its a matter of opinion and value but yeah, I would say do it if you can.
This match has left me confused. Juggernaut's item build was Phase Boots -> Shadow Blade -> Mask of Madness -> Rapier (seriously) -> Crystalys -> Crystalys.
I have no idea how we won. We wiped so many times when we tried to end it and they often had the upper hand in late game. We only won because Sven decided to backdoor while the enemy was going for mega creeps. I still don't get the Juggernaut's item build.
It'd be cool if we could organize casual Facepunch inhouses where everyone just piles into a lobby and we hit balanced shuffle
Pretty sure that was tried and failed though, iirc
If not it would be something to try. No real reason to take an unranked match seriously, although I'm sure people would find a way.
Lina is my waffle

It would never work because we have people who just started playing and people who have 2000+ hours. The game wouldn't be fair regardless

I think it would be fun. It would probably be at least somewhat more balanced than the old inhouses since they were always stacks of friends vs bad stacks of friends. If it was done dodgeball style, it ended up the same way with one team better than the other.

I love that item. The description is great, too.
Gah, just played a match as Specter where my team though it'd be okay if they stole my farm for the entire match, then were all like "lol you suck noob, you only had 2 kills"
[editline]17th March 2013[/editline]
If only i could haunt them irl like Specter and cut them open..... [sp]But they probably be able to kill me anyhoo cause I'd have no farm[/sp]

We could try one at 2 PM EST
If you need a random generic to fill in a slot, I'm game for it.
And also horribly sleep deprived. (I have not slept since this time yesterday.)
Eh, as usual, I keep wanting to go Spectre, because I like the idea behind her, and played her with success in botmatches (hard bots), but whenever it gets to actual games, I always pick supports or gankers because "the game certainly won't last for more than 40 minutes".
Double the frustration when the game actually -does- go on for ages.
