Just played Shadow Demon mid against a Wisp and Chaos Knight. It was obvious they were trying to be pub stars, and apparently they told their team they would dominate mid. Well they tried killing me multiple times but never succeeded and nearly killed themselves multiple times. I went and ganked another lane, got first blood and a double kill. I guess this was enough to scare the enemy because after that they did nothing but focus me, at the end I had 10 deaths while everyone else on my team had no more than 2 deaths.

I feel bad for pubstomping with Cancer Lancer. But split pushing like a speeding train is so fun as the enemy runs away from a brewing teamfight to come focus me. Sure I have like 2-5 kills at the end of a match most of the time but I'll probably have some of the least deaths on my team and still contribute.

I'm new to DotA from LoL, tried jungling with lifestealer, very easy didn't have to do any fancy lane pulling or anything. His ult is so fun, just watching as they go in to last hit an infested creep and BAM it's lifestealer bro [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] This was my second game, in my first game I was sniper in bot lane and I ahd a drow ranger with me who bot 0 items at level 1 and went 0/16 before ragequitting 5 minutes before the end and saying it was his first and last ever game of DotA

Since you're in the trench i'd recommend you stick with him jungling, unless you go with a friend who can support you in lane. Also another thing to keep in mind from lol to Dota is that bot/top lanes can switch from safe to hard lane radiant bot is safe and top is hard, for the dire it's the oposite yada yada. Another thing since you're a trenchie for now, make some friends on steam or facepunch, and play with them to improve your games because people WILL leave on the lower levels, so friends improve the game, just make sure you're not one of those "hey we're picking this combo sucks to you 3 lol" friends.

I just can't seem to find a Finblade seller. Though i'm not really searching all that hard.

But yeah it seems laning is NOT the way to go right now, instead jungling and forcing your solo lane to play safe cause he doesn't have another champion to support/place blame on then ganking like crazy with the level advantage

Played a bunch of Dota x2 today, the concept is nice and all but the people aren't So fucking tryhard picks it just isn't fun, same 10 heroes fill about 6/10 slots in every game. And the fact that there was this enormous asshat there too didn't help the cause.

Spectre is terribly dependant on farm and require a team with actual brain cells to play properly in order to allow you to get items. Low tier pub is not the place.

Won another game with jungle lifestealer, people really have no idea what's happening, I just ult an ally and say "walk into them" and once they waste their cc on one hero I pop out Won 2 out of 3 of my first pvp games now

Man, im getting fucking tired of being put into Single Draft even though i didn't pick that, my team always picks shit they can't play. I was doing so well as Lina last game but then we had a Doom and Undying that were dumb as a damn door.
