Won another game with jungle lifestealer, people really have no idea what's happening, I just ult an ally and say "walk into them" and once they waste their cc on one hero I pop out
Won 2 out of 3 of my first pvp games now
It won't be that easy later. Eventually you can only jungle on a case by case basis.
Man, im getting fucking tired of being put into Single Draft even though i didn't pick that, my team always picks shit they can't play. I was doing so well as Lina last game but then we had a Doom and Undying that were dumb as a damn door.
then don't queue for single draft

Yeah just doing it for my initial matches to get out of the skill level of people who literally do not know what they are looking at when they look at anything on the screen
then don't queue for single draft
I unchecked it ages ago, but for whatever reason it put me in single draft 2 times today.
Single draft.
chose SF for first time.

I also didn't even know what happened the first time I played as SF, his damage is insane if you manage to keep souls, a rather good pick if no disables on other team.

Bkb was a good choice.
quick irrelevant rant about Drow;
Drow was never broken. At lower levels of play sure she stomped face because no one really knows what they're doing or how to counter her. Once you get to higher levels where people do actually know the game she becomes quickly a non-issue. I haven't run into a Drow that has given my team any problems in the past ~2 months.
[editline]18th March 2013[/editline]
but she's still the most boring and least fleshed out hero in the game.
My Naga build is Linkens-BoT-Diffusal-Manta.
With E and Q maxed first, but with 2 points of W before that.
Booya!
Carried the shit out of a game as Nature's Profit. While my team defended, I farmed and pushed the lanes like mad, even got first blood on luna all by myself.
Thought the game was lost. Axe was sort of shit and "stole" the jungle from me and fucked up my farm for a bit, but I ended up getting up fast.
Enemy pudge must have raged as hard as SK bones. Called me a stupid prophet for whatever reason and called me noob for pushing without creeps once. Jokes on him anyway, he was complete shit :v:

I don't think she's ever stomped on my team, but it was still pretty troublesome having a hero with what, 100-150 damage at lvl 6.

Reminds me when I thought I was the hot shit playing viper. Made a 1 on 1 + bots with a friend of mine, got completely destroyed by his windrunner.
High level games are a whole different thing.
Brewmaster is so much fun, holy shit
Does anyone else feel like they play worse than they actually are? I don't know how to word it correctly, but where I don't get to play often because I generally can't guarantee I'll be available for an hour my reaction times and general habits can be sub par. But at the same time I spend sometime nearly every day watching Dota so I know all of the heroes and most of the beginner mistakes and advanced strategies. Basically most matches I end up constantly pointing out my mistakes in my head to myself.
For example I just random'd panda and we stomped hard (I went 12/7/17) but I still feel like I played like shit. My micro was bad because I stupidly rebound team scores to tab a while ago, and my blink + aghs was super late because I couldn't get decent farm due to having actual carries who needed the farm.
Gonna keep randoming though, I need to get out of comfort zone of supports and gankers.
That feel when Daedalus proc with godlike strength and whole team pops. Sven is amazing, idk why people dont pick him as often.

I love sven.

He's too reliant on his ult in my opinion to make him a reliable carry. He can't really be a good aegis carrier, because when he gets back up, no ult and he's just do so-so damage and be wrecked by a real carry. Also, people can just try to bait out his ult, or stunlock him during it, or simply run away and wait it out.
[editline]18th March 2013[/editline]
All he has going for him when his ult is off is cleave and a decent stun.

1) you dont use your ult if you have aegis until you get back up. rule of thumb for heroes like sven and dragon knight and anyone with a bkb
2) his stun is probably one of the best in the game what

sven with Daedalus can inflict massive damage period with his cleave, and the AOE for his stun is crazy good. he is kinda ulti dependent but overall if you build him with straight damage he can be a very good team fighter period
I just played a game with a really good Huskar (see: total fucking asshole that right-clicks to win).
I had absolutely no fun at all. And his constant bragging had me livid by the end of the game.

So I played Lina and I actually kinda liked her now as opposed to my stance before (Jesus christ why is she so useless) now that I've learned to manage my health.
What should be built on her?
Bloodstone seems pretty nice, I wonder about Eye of Skadi, because she can right-click pretty nicely as well.
[editline]18th March 2013[/editline]
I've heard about Eblade on her: Is that a joke or not?
Because it does not seem efficient at all.

MKB, desolator, whatever is nice but thats if you go carry lina.
I've converted from LoL to Dota 2. I haven't even played 100 games in Dota 2 yet, but over 1000 in LoL and I must say that Dota 2 has much more fun, rewarding and interesting gameplay.

That completely turned the game around, stuff like that will never happen in LoL. It happened yesterday while playing with 4 friends.

Considering it amplifies the damage of her nuke, stun and ult, i dont see anything wrong with an eth blade
the reason why eth blade is made out of an eaglesong instead of a mystic staff for int heroes or hell even a reaver for pudge is cause that'd be OP as shit
Does anything rival Leshrac's Edict in terms of sheer amounts of SPEED in pushing down towers?
Because I max the Edict first thing anytime I play him and I can push entire towers down almost instantly by myself.

Clinkz, perhaps?

I once had a premade of Lesh, Clinkz and Tiny (with Agha)
Once we teamwiped them, they lost their 3 mid towers and both mid racks.
Naga with maxed illusions works as well.
