I should play Sand King more. He's so fun, and the shift queued blink epi destroys people.
Right, so Im kinda new-ish to Dota 2, and so far Im handling most heroes well and trying to counter them, but so far I have no idea how to counter Spirit Breaker and Phantom Lancer. SB can come out of no-where and fuck you up so bad across the entire map, and if PL gets even remoltely good farm he's unkillable with his 2 billion illusions. Any tips how to deal with them?

PL can be countered by gems, sentry wards and not letting him freefarming all game. He's a hard carry so he will rape you if you leave him alone. (His farm needs to be shutdown by ganks or w/e) Generally when you're playing against a harder carry you want to end the game soon (assuming your team can end it soon enough)
u know he talks like that in every game he plays too right (NYAN~ :3) [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] glhf nyan :333 [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] i really hope that guy is not allowed to take his cat into his basement room with the door closed NYAN :3
I'm going to start doing this sounds fun
I love playing Kunkka but my god, aiming his boat is a fucking mess.
Just remember that his boat lands at the max range of his torrent. So if you torrent from max distance, and drop a boat, you'll hit every time.
was trying to mess around with cheats in an attempt to create an enemy hero army to face off against, i know that you have to be dire and all heros get added on radiant but past a certain point all heros added with -createhero npc_dota_hero_name enemy just stand around doing nothing any suggestions?
I'm going to start doing this sounds fun
Please don't
He's too reliant on his ult in my opinion to make him a reliable carry. He can't really be a good aegis carrier, because when he gets back up, no ult and he's just do so-so damage and be wrecked by a real carry. Also, people can just try to bait out his ult, or stunlock him during it, or simply run away and wait it out. [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] All he has going for him when his ult is off is cleave and a decent stun.
The sven magnus combo is really fun though

If you don't see spirit breaker on the map, you should really hug a tower and call he's missing if nobody knows. A really cool thing to do is stun him out of his charge - Playing Nyx, Lion or sand king and stunning him mid charge will not only deny him the kill but force him to sick with his dick in his hand wondering what the fuck to do then leave the lane PL takes a lot of ganks and dust. Don't even think about going to kill him without detection. Getting an early gank on him (assuming he's the hard lane) and pushing the tower out to scare him off of farm really helps out shutting him down a bit. If you don't see him after this, ward his jungle. Games against PL will not end well if the game goes on long enough for him to farm. PL's recent agility buff makes him a lot harder to deal with because of obvious reasons so shutting him down early isn't a guaranteed win, you really need a strong mid game presence
Please don't
It's already been decided you can't stop what is already in motion
I always heard how SD is better than AP
SD is a lot worse, not only do you get bullshit heroes anyways, but you can't directly counter them
SD is a lot worse, not only do you get bullshit heroes anyways, but you can't directly counter them
And the people playing SD tend to be the in between the narrow border of a new player and a captain mode playing pro. aka shit talker.
SD is a lot worse, not only do you get bullshit heroes anyways, but you can't directly counter them
My SD experience was people that were too scared to random but were fine with 3 random heroes instead. Either way, they didn't know how to play them.
So with PL, you have to shut him down early game and deny him farm. What about if he has farm and he is wrecking havock across the map? Is the only option to lay down and die
When in doubt, Rapiers out!
I want to have a threesome with purge and medusa.
I keep forgetting how annoying is to lane agaisnt sniper got after 6.76, and just after the game finished i realised why the visage laning with me could stay in lane for so long
So, I tried solo queueing. BR's surprised the shit out of me in my first solo queue. We all worked together and won. They all spoke okay english and were really nice. Commended em all. 2nd game we had no supports(AXE GYRO INVOKER VIPER ALCHEMIST). BR axe(useless piece of trash, muted me for telling him blademail before blink is retarded. Went afk on the rune spot for 4 mins.), foreign invoker who communicated amazingly(and helped me buy wards and shit, which helped), alchemist who did nothing but bitch about support gyro(he typed horribly too), viper who is the main reason we won I had to support gyro, which 'worked' out, but goddamn it was tedious. I won both games, but solo queueing is scary shit.
SD is a lot worse, not only do you get bullshit heroes anyways, but you can't directly counter them
When I play alone I only pick All Random and Single Draft. I should be able to play most heroes and I just don't know why, but I hate picking a hero.
So with PL, you have to shut him down early game and deny him farm. What about if he has farm and he is wrecking havock across the map? Is the only option to lay down and die
pretty much like every carry in the game
http://dotabuff.com/matches/152110067 How's my prophet build? I went midas -> phase -> orchid -> lothars -> sheep
pretty much like every carry in the game
PL does too well with just diffusal. He literally fucks over anyone in a fight who has a low manapool.
That's if everybody is currently even, if one team starts to get upperhand at all in kills or tower pushing he's useless. Also Drow is still a bullshit pusher. Not even goddamn PL or NP can outpush her 12 minutes into the game.
had a great game earlier nyan~ everyone was so nice and it was a really fun game nyan :33
http://dotabuff.com/matches/152110067 How's my prophet build? I went midas -> phase -> orchid -> lothars -> sheep
Considering they had a Spirit Breaker the sblade was 100% wasted money.

Not even goddamn PL or NP can outpush her 12 minutes into the game.
I feel that being a split pusher is what she's meant to be. It certainly seems that her ult encourages her to kite/gtfo when somebody comes near, so she's not the super hard carry yoloswag early game teamfight monster she was before. She should be ganking early game instead of farming and turning that into as much pushing power as possible. Her aura still gives her presence in fights she's not present for as a huge boost to the team's ranged damage.
Can anyone give me Silencer advice? I find him really fun to play, but always get confused on what skills to level first. Also, is he better played support or carry?
I want to have a threesome with purge and medusa.
I'd prefer a threesome with something like CM and Windrunner but if getting petrified's your thing, that's cool.

Level your Q first for harassment early-game.
