Gonna try to get into this game after holding onto a passive interest in this game for a long time now. Trying to learn to play Lion against bots. Beat the easy bots, gonna try it with normal soon.
tip: if anyone calls you a bad noob feeder faggot, just ignore them, it always happens to new players.
Voluntary Visage/Meepo/Invoker picks scare the shit out of me, they're either complete newbies but more often they're people who know what they're doing - in which case it ends up in a roflstomp for them (usually).
My friend makes me feel sorry for the enemy team when he picks invoker. He has hours and hours of playtime as Invoker, and he's a fucking terrifying force of nature on the field of battle.
Just me or Visage players don't enjoy playing Visage? Everytime I see one they go "I never play this goddamn guy" or " Is my first time playing Visage". I sincerely never hear someone saying something like "I love Visage"
I fucking love playing Visage. but yeah,i only encountered once or twice a guy that picked him.All the other's would just random him.

Visage is probably my favorite of the lot, because with visage i always know what im getting, enchantress and chen are wildcards you relly too much on chance to be effective, when you go into the jungle you can get a great creep for first blood or you can get mud golems. With visage i know exacly what im getting a great combo for any agressive lane and a "reliable" stun from my familiars, and soul assumption just wrecks when it hits lvl4. Visage really shines as my go too agreesive lane support/side carry if farmed enough.
Is that Crystalline crate still worth opening? I have some dosh left on my wallet and there isn't any cheap game i want so might aswell buy a key.

Gosh darn why couldn't the Nimble Ben courier have been put in game with this update. That's like an instant buy for me.
Micro-intensive heroes? Chen's my favourite out of the Incredible Four (Chen, Visage, Meepo, Enchantress) Visage's second. I'm still too scared to play Meepo in real games. I really love the early game, and that's where Chen really shines. Nobody ever expects you to waltz out of the jungle, Ensnare them, War Stomp and Thunderclap and finish all that with a Test of Faith (damn, that ability does some heavy damage) and auto attacks, followed by taking their tower with all of your flock. (Of course, that all depends on how lucky you are with creeps, nothing annoys me more than getting Wildkin camps when I want to gank a lane (Don't get me wrong, they're tres bien for harassing and pushing, but not exactly the best thing for ganks)) I don't really like Ench because she has to constantly refill her creep entourage, while as Chen you can keep your creeps you like forever. I still dream of succesfully getting 3 Dark Troll Warlords as Chen. Just imagine the tower pushing with 6 skeleton warriors.

3 centaur khans, 6 second aoe stun who needs sven
Triple wildkin triple tornado. Stand still. I dare you.
Tornadoes don't stack. EDIT: Ok, I have searched the web and they do, in fact, stack. Strange, I thought they wouldn't. So they work like Permanent Immolation and not like Radiance aura.

People rarely pick them intentionally if they can't play them. I often expect some sort of challenge when I see a guy pick Meepo, but I always have an itch they won't be.
Welp, time to play kotl again and get yelled at [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/882977285080271024/516CB25A07A0BE6D5388C7A341650D389309F07F/1024x578.resizedimage[/t]
Anybody else getting some server lag?
tip: if anyone calls you a bad noob feeder faggot, just ignore them, it always happens to new players.
I fully expect this when I start playing online. It's served as a slight psychological barrier to me getting started at this game. I am never going to get good without being bad for a while. Hopefully I'll run into someone who offers good newbie advice instead of that kind of a reaction though.
LMFAO i played utility alchemist and rushed dagon 5, shadow blade, and blink holy fucking shit its fun
can someone teach me how to tinker? the best i can do is fly around the map marching creep waves then going back to base sometimes i can perma hex people but that doesnt happen because they run from me (i probably wrecked them early game)
tbh lategame all tinker is is pretty much thinking properly in the heat of the moment and properly allocating everything you are doing. there isn't specifically much to teach, you just need to prioritize the vast amount of abilities and items you have, and properly like if there's someone in a fight dealing a fuckton of damage (say a really farmed sven) you're going to want to either blind or sheepstick him over and over while constantly nuking down everyone else and rearming it's like jungling (for me, at least); you'll do better as you further fix yourself onto the mindset of it
Welp, time to play kotl again and get yelled at [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/882977285080271024/516CB25A07A0BE6D5388C7A341650D389309F07F/1024x578.resizedimage[/t]
KOTL isn't too tricky - feed your allies mana, harass consistently, and mana leak during team fights.
can someone teach me how to tinker? the best i can do is fly around the map marching creep waves then going back to base sometimes i can perma hex people but that doesnt happen because they run from me (i probably wrecked them early game)
just be as fast as you can with pushing, and destroy everyone early game and keep them that way. pretty much keep killing them to keep them squishy, while pushing the lanes like a mofo. also whatever you do, dont level rearm past 1/2 till you have the mana pool to handle it.
can someone teach me how to tinker? the best i can do is fly around the map marching creep waves then going back to base sometimes i can perma hex people but that doesnt happen because they run from me (i probably wrecked them early game)
When I play tinker, I personally max laser and rockets first. You can just laser the enemy mid once, wait for it to get off cd then laser again with a missile right after. This practically guarantees a first blood. The two items considered core on tinker are boots of travel and soul ring. The boots of travel is self explanatory as it gives you global presence, the soul ring allows you to spam march a couple more times before teleporting back. Tinker is the a really strong hero because he has good early game presence with his nukes, and great late game presence with his pushing capabilities. But he is nothing without a sheepstick. With it, he can easily take someone out of the fight or disable a vital enemy carry extremely reliably. If you find that the enemy gets away from you too often, or the enemy loves to gank you while you push the already pushed lanes, get a blink dagger. Not only does it increase your chasing potential, but it allows you to blink into the nearest cluster of trees to allow for a quick escape.
I feel like I'm able to do all I can as a support in Normal matchmaking, and any game I win is a complete stomp. What can I do to get into a higher bracket for less 1-sided games?
Keep playing. That's really it. [editline]21st March 2013[/editline] Then again, I'm in the High bracket with abou 300 wins, whilst I have a friend with 700 that's in the Normal one. I have no fucking clue now that I think about it.
Opened up the new rarities chest, I got the only uncommon item in that chest and I dont even like the item. ;-;
KOTL isn't too tricky - feed your allies mana, harass consistently, and mana leak during team fights.
I know how to play KotL, I'm just too much of an asshole and get travel boots after mek, and leave stuff like scythe for later :v:
Well I played a round against hard difficulty bots. We were sorta winning for a while until the bots on my team went full retard. All five of us went to gank necrolyte on our own, and when we got to him, the bots just kinda stood around him. I hexed, I spiked, I drained, and I even nuked, but, they just kinda watched. So yeah. Necrolyte killed all of us.
