Over time you'll learn the thought patterns of the bots, and you'll never be able to practice with them again.

Shame, it's actually a really good AI.

So I just played a match with a Lich that refused to build support items. Then, when confronted about it, claimed that it was because Lich isn't even a support: in fact, he is a teamfighter, and you should build him around sustainability and increasing his teamfight damage output, via Veil.

I am truly enlightened.

I find practicing with bots very very helpful as a carry player. Sure, the AI sucks and is very predictable, but that's not why it helps. I can practice many different build orders, getting my CS right on all heroes (like Zeus and Clinkz), and build orders to see what's most effective. I am able to do this all and even try wacky builds without ruining someone else's game and ruining my win/loss ratio.

Probably one of the reasons why I've been on such a winning streak for the past month or so.

More people need to save for buybacks lategame.
I see far too many people buyout a item and then die, when saving for a buyback and then using the extra gold for that major item would be a lot more useful.
I have seen so many games lost due to this.
