Am I the only one here who isn't disgusted by the Crystal effect? I think it fits Babbeeh Roshy really well, but maybe not other couriers. Possibly a speed demon, haven't seen one with the effect.
Yeah warning: don't play tonight, random disconnects and major lagspikes abound.
Axe is one of the few heroes that can make me still enjoy a match even when 3 bad players gaurante a loss after 10 mins

It's the most fitting but I still don't like it
I like the crystal rift on my wardog, but I wish there was more too it/it actually looked crystally

Just try going Sniper against her.
Those snakes take half of your hp pretty much all the time.

She completely controls the lane itself, but she is a horrible mid because she has little rune control and cannot actually gank any of the lanes very well.

She can pretty much control a lane solo against a dual lane with ease, I see no reason to put her mid versus, let's say, a Shadow Fiend or Queen of Pain.
The effect looks amazing on my tengu, but horrible on my boar.
so i found a match and accepted it and it didn't load for 10 minutes, ended dota.exe in task manager, launched the game again and it's still trying to connect to dota 2 network and it's been like 7 minutes now.
what's going on?

When you crash/close the game with task manager it unually requires you to open and close the game, the open it again for it to "connect to the dota 2 network" (it needs to properly log you out for it to log you in or something.)
If it still doesn't work, then it's the game/servers.

I wouldn't play right now. There are bugs in matchmaking. You risk getting a lot of abandons right now.
What a drag. Weekends are probably the most annoying time to have MM bugs.
And I just got off an 8 game loss streak, so theoretically my luck should be turning around, right?

* Spiked Carapace duration reduced from 2.75 to 2.25
* Spiked Carapace cooldown increased from 14 to 23/20/17/14
* Marksmanship bonus is removed when there are nearby enemy heroes (instead of just being halved)
* Reduced Marksmanship enemy detection aoe reduced from 400 to 375
* Heaven’s Halberd's Disarm is no longer dispelled by Manta
* Living Armor damage reduction is now done for all instances of damage that reduce its charges
Previous Living Armor Behavior: It would eat up charges from all damage sources, but only absorb some damage from heroes physical attacks
New Living Armor Behavior: Still eats up charges from all sources (including magic), but absorbs some damage from them as well

I'm very happy with these changes. It's a start to making things better. Not a lot of changes here but they are all very important and influential.
Maybe now we'll see less tranquil boots and KOTL won't be as annoying anymore.

Lancer in some way was nerfed in this update. Not directly but through other changes.
By nerfing tranquil boots the way they did they made it easier to harass him and gank him. Also by nerfing KOTL this makes the dreaded KOTL PL lane combo a bit easier to deal with.
I still think PL's agility gain is a bit absurd and he might need some slight tweaks here and there though.

A small buff to Treant, but a buff nonetheless. It's a step in the right direction.

Well there aren't any changes I don't agree with. Ofc I'd like to see a bigger buff to Treant than that, but hey it's something.
Keep in mind this isn't all that's gonna happen, 6.78 will most likely come before the International anyway, these were just the highest priority nerfs.
25 speed with broken tranquils? wow... i main support and this killed the boots for me
I'm sad that they nerfed The Best Boots.
Tranquils were never used regularly in competitive until recently, and then people realized just how amazing they were. Kinda like gyrocopter.
