So instead of making assists worth more, they removed assists entirely except in cases of critical hits where someone steals your kill. How exactly did the devs expect this to improve gameplay.
God nothing wrong with the patch just bitching cos ur shit Ahem, anyway I know what you mean, and because of that everyone is desperate to get the last hit on you. I had a tail of ~6 planes earlier while I had dual black wings, all fighting to get the kill hit

I'm pretty much permanently top 3 on the scoreboard if not top with less deaths than half of it. I shouldn't need to be ace with a bomber award and zero deaths to make more than 0.5% the cost of a tier 14 plane while flying a tier 13 plane.
Yup, new economy now has me stuck at a wall. Leveling up with XP is fine, but doesn't mean shit if I can't buy the new planes; especially when the research tree is extremely linear (ie, need to buy one plane before the other). Fuck their explanation for the change, who the hell gets to level 20 in a week?
Q: What happened with economy and why is economy like this now? A: Basically, we don't want people to join the game and get to level 20 in a week. Before, that was possible, people come to game, bomb targets, leave the game or kamikaze not being punished at all. Now economy is set to eradicate that. Also, every economy change need to run for at least a week for data gathering before any decision is made. So, don't worry about economy too much, it will be changed for sure again and again.
http://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/23544-qa-session-with-trojan-and-borisych-22032013/
[IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/630zzmh.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Every damn time
I guess if you played for every hour of the week and earned 25k xp each match you could get to 20 in a week...
These devs are out of touch with their own game.

So let's take a look at it 1. They make jets terribly boring to play, removing the point to grind to tier 20 2. The only reason the jets are terribly boring to play is because there's not many of them so it takes 10 minutes to find a match and the match has virtually no players in it. Solution? Make it so it's harder to get to the jets. Plus, wouldn't lower xp gain make it harder to get to level 20, not lions? :v: Also, I hardly bought shit on my way to tier 20 and I still barely had enough money to get the tier 20 jet and expert so I feel bad for people who need to grind 10x the money now
yeah, its pretty awful at the moment. I should be happy I have two jets, even though they are not as good as the others. I feel like they'll be forced to change the economy though, with the way it is right now people aren't going to feel motivated to push themselves into the end-game and I'd imagine that WT makes most of their money from people trying to get closer to the end-game.
The broken as poop community aside, they may have gone too far with night battles too: [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/shot20130323180409.jpg[/t] [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/shot20130323175734.jpg[/t] Yeah I didn't know I was about to crash while doing runs in an Il-2 until my Rs-132s illuminated the valley cliffside next to me.

Friend of mine had a typhoon hitting Wake Island at night. At least there were no mountains to crash into there.
The rudder is way too sensitive. I try to use it to make small adjustments (like you're supposed to) when firing and it just throws my plane way off.
The rudder is just fine and handles like a aircrafts rudder should. It gets most used in assisting a planes rolling. Apply a small amount of rudder in the direction you are rolling and you will notice your roll rate increase greatly. Also used when pushing the limit of your aircraft when turning, fighting the want of the plane to roll over into a flat spin. Using rudder while aiming is just generally a bad idea.
Just got my first level 4 Japanese fighter the one with the pontoons for water landing, I think its called the zero. In any case, why the hell when going fast like 300kph it rolls so slow like a bomber, actually worst than a bomber.

I have the A6M2 and it also has a bad roll rate, but it turns incredibly well.

Oh my god I cannot stand the US servers. 5 fucking times in a single battle I get suicide charged. Hurr its your fault that you had someone fly straight into you front on. Going back to EU till they implement historical mode on US so I dont have to deal with idiots who do that shit, at least I can shoot them down before theyre merged with my plane in HB
Uh, any news of a credit change or did one come with the hotfix? The new plane prices are retarded considering they slashed earning, especially with the Germans (ofc) I have to go through like 7 of the same plane to get anywhere, and that's like 400k per rank, at rank 7. ;_; [editline]24th March 2013[/editline]
Do I need to take a picture of the scoreboard every time I fucking play to get you people off my back about how I'm apparently bad, despite never having seen me play ever. It's also somewhat ironic that it's so expensive to buy lions, that it's not even worth giving them money to get credits.
It's also somewhat ironic that it's so expensive to buy lions, that it's not even worth giving them money to get credits.
Lol, EU get shafted on the real money purchases by up to 25% apparently~ Think I saw it on reddit but I cant find it now
It is beta though, the economy can use a lot of work. And since it definitely doesn't work right now, I am sure it will get better. Beginning third of the tiers should get money, middle third should be a little gain, or breaking even, and last third should be a loss, this is how free to play should be. Right now you barely make profit ever, which is clearly a bad model to run off of, I am sure enough people will make this known to Gaijin that they will have to change it.
A guaranteed loss is never a good idea imo.
A guaranteed loss is never a good idea imo.
not really the point i was trying to make
Are german jets somewhat good now?
