Also I'd be okay with keeping the modern setting if they do things like dynamic weather, day/night cycles, actual destruction this time around, and fuck it BF2 Special Forces equipment because why not.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at. Players would end up getting gimped because the sun glinted through clouds and got them through their eyes. Or rain got on their goggles and distorted the enemy's silhouette. Hell, maybe for long range shooting the enemy survived because a gust of wind threw their bullet off track.

I didn't mind random spread to begin with, it was a factor that you had to account for but it did not kick in as harsh as it does now.
Now even if you go out of your way to remove random spread as a factor

You'll still find it stupidly hard to hit the broad side of a barn 30 meters away if you go Hammer down for more than 3 - 4 bullets. It fucks over a lot of weapons but some seem virtually unfazed.
In my ideal world.
Low RoF weapons like the Scar L / H, G3a3, AK74 would get next to no random spread when you ADS.
High RoF like the M4, AEK, M16 would get random spread toned down a bit from the F2000 (AEK getting about the same to be honest).
Not going to happen i know but it's nice to dream.

I think if you host a server with DLC it defaults to premium. That or server owns are really exclusive people.

Honestly I'm really surprised by how much you guys get banned from servers. I have NEVER gotten banned from a server for having too high of a k/d, for pissing off an admin, etc. It's not even like I haven't pulled off some bullshit and been accused of hacking. It's happened, but almost every server I go on doesn't have any admins to speak of that are online. With everyone always complaining about shitty admins and terrible banning experiences, I feel like I'm missing out on a key bf3 feature :v:

Go to TDM Canals, use the 870 with slugs, jump around a lot and only hip fire while killing people left and right it'll signal everyone's brain that you are a noob and instantly a hacker at the same time.
If you haven't been banned for something stupid you haven't experienced the battlefield community.
The only times I've been kicked/banned was for reaching a pre-determined KDR limit, which to date this is the only game to have such a plugin. This community.
It's really not hard to get a high KDR, who really gives a shit either, just sit in a area with a medpack and a buddy you'll be fine. Or just sit somewhere in metro near medics and you wouldn't have to worry, I had one guy revive the entire round while I was bored playing with the SVD 106 KDR that round.

Even without any teammates you can just run around and shoot anyone you see on your radar
Just got premium edition, first kill I got in the game was hitting a chopper with a RPG, granted it wasn't my first round. And he was sort of standing still hovering but still!
