What's with the server list?
Finally got the game thanks to the whole SimCity thing and went to find a server, one on Gulf of Oman preferably, and apparently no server was on that map..so I cut all the filters to as low as possible and apparently there are only 3 servers with people on..

So BF3 is pretty cool (I got it free for getting SC)
Gotta say though, battlelog is weird.
I'm enjoying the Campaign, and I tried some MP as well... EA might get me to get premium while it's on sale :v: Do you guys think it's worth it?
Also, for the life of me, where can I edit loadouts? I can't find it in the menu... :S

At this price Premium is well worth it
Also, loadouts are on the respawn screen (when you die, theres a loadout button)

Premium is def worth it if you like the MP and want the expansions. Especially for 25 dollars.
You can change your loadouts in the battlelog, or theres a customize button somewhere ingame.
Premium adds a ton of content, although I sort of regret buying it this late in the game's lifespan even if I did get it for a good deal, especially when considering the upcoming release of BF4.

Premium costs $50 dollars for people who bought the game early but anyone who buys it now can get it for only $20 extra.
So I find a $25 prepaid deep within my wallet, buy premiums, several hour long download predicted, 670 kb/s, 14 GIGABYTES OF MAPS
Well I wanted to play End Game when I finished downloading it.
Unfortunately, Punkbuster is kicking me from any server ~2 minutes in because PnkBstrB.exe isn't running.
Tried to fix it my downloading Punkbuster from their site and manually adding BF3 to it. Didn't work.
Tried to fix it by running pbsvc.exe from the Battlefield 3 folder. Didn't work. Said I didn't have access to write PnkBstrB.exe.
This is annoying. I haven't been able to play since End Game came out. The support forums are no help; the people there are just as clueless as I am. How depressing.

According to that site you posted, yes, by the [I]numbers...[/I] in [I]theory...[/I] the M16A4 is [I]technically[/I] "better".
HOWEVER... its not about numbers, is it? if there was a weapon that was literally a direct upgrade, then logically they wouldn't let you use the old one, because its... inferior.
But thats not how it works. There are so many guns that do so many things because people like [I]variety.[/I] Each gun feels different to them. I tried using the 74M because all my friends were like "dis gun is da bom", but every time I tried it I just ended up mad. it felt different, it felt OFF.
But... drop an M4 in my hands and suddenly if I see you, you're dead.
Give me an MP7, and I'll shoot more bullets in 2 seconds than you can manage in your entire magazine.
Give me an 870, and you won't even know what hit you.
Give me a G3, and I'll remove your face with a bunch of high velocity fists.
I can't just use 1 weapon, I gotta have variety, something new. If the game were truly designed with direct upgrade weapons in mind, then at this point everyone would be using your glorious M16. But not everyone is, because not everyone likes it. You shitspamming this "M16 is better" shit day in and day out does nothing more than piss people off and make them use different weapons just so they can rub their stats in your face when they suddenly are doing as well if not better than you.

My top used weapons (in order) are the G3A3, AS VAL, SCAR-H, and MP7(and AEK, but I haven't touched that gun in a year ever since all the tryhards started using it but it's still in my top 5). Honestly the G3A3 is one of the best guns in the game. Extremely high damage and extremely accurate. I'd love to hear the shit that statman mcgee will say about it or any of my top weapons.

I just got this on Xbox (PC can't run it) and I'm pretty choked you HAVE to install the HD textures to an Xbox 360 Hard drive. I've got the newer model Xbox, which only has a memory unit so I can't install it. The game looks like utter shit, and I feel like I'm only experiencing a part of the game.

They did nerf the famas to all hell, but still I prefer a challenge it's fun and currently my 2nd top most used gun.
It makes me mildly upset how the M320 and M320 smoke are counted as the same weapon. 99% of my M320 kills are from smoking people, and while it's fun and rewarding to do I get ragged on for having a relatively high amount of M320 kills.
I also recommend purely using M320 smoke if you want to polish up your aiming and tactics. After playing for a few days purely using the M320 smoke I decimated people while using a real weapon :v:

Took him 60 hours to get to lvl 44? You got to be kidding me. I hit my first eagle rank like 45 hours in, and that's when I could barely maintain a KD of 1 per round..
